Hi GFY forum, just found a website last week that thought you could like.

It's called worth of web and indicates you the estimated value in dollars of your website (or any website) as well as estimated daily monthly and yearly revenue and lots of traffic informations.

Just found out the value of Xvideos is 1,500,000,000$ and almosts fainted

All those appraisal sites are highly unrealistic because they use traffic data as details which is not enough, you need to take into consideration what niche/vertical/etc is also to give realistic appraisal .

Adult free site traffic generally does not have much value. If xvideos would be a paysite with same level of traffic, then such appraisal would be more realistic.

As a paysite owner, these "valuation" websites have no way of knowing our join/rebill counts/ratios.

They mostly track the amount of traffic, time on site, and ads displayed to calculate "value", which is worthless for companies like mine heh.

Did a test for my lowest traffic site, it tells me it's worth around 2 times the monthly income it generates. Did a second test with a different domain, same results, it's only around 90% off, because it only looks at visitor numbers and takes the average (probably mainstream) rates for display ads.

Also, mainstream content sites are being sold off for 30x (sometimes even more) its monthly revenue. Well, good luck trying to sell your adult sites for those prices...

Conclusion - it's all BS

Totally wrong. My website valuation, according to these idiots, is about equal to approximately 3 to4 day revenue, or about 10 % of a budget of one single production. Totally bogus

A site with a valuation of $50 may have a low traffic but it generates an income of $xx,xxx a month. So these valuation sites are not accurate. They just check traffic.

Well I checked it I ran my two websites through on it, on which I've worked hard since 1996, it said they are both worth $1250 which is quite accurate.
