Sudden intolerance to caffeine

Anyone ever have this happen? I used to do 3-5 cups a day. Now around 2 I get all jittery, headache, dizziness. Does this happen to you? What do you do to ameliorate this?

Of course check your blood presure after coffee - it can be a reason of feeling bad.

That happens to me sometimes, but mostly when I drink a lot of caffeine and didn't eat anything.

Check with your health/medical provider about having a allergy/intolerance panel done, or ...

Visit Groupon and look for the "intolerance" tests. It's super affordable, you mail them hair samples for testing, the results come back electronically within about a week.

Here is the link:
https://www.groupon.com/deals/max-ascension-llc?deal_option=40300d78-194b-4a55-85cb-43ee7178568e

I've ordered this for my entire family. Easy to read results. Some items surprised us. Individually we cut back on consuming some of those items listed, and we feel better.

Good luck.

Cheap brands or instant coffee do that to me (after years of abuse, of course) . . .

It sounds like you have withdrawal symptoms. Have you tried going back to 3-5 cups a day?

Or maybe you're being poisoned.

The body treats coffee as a poison and to protect it self it creates adrenaline to circulate blood faster and purge the toxins out.

I had my blood tested for intolerance to certain foods and caffeine was one of them, never liked coffee or energy drinks anyway, probably because they made me feel worse.

Ditch the k-cup crap. Get a conical grinder, quality whole beans, and grind just before brewing.

Yep, i would advise that as well. Mostly because "brand" coffe put who knows what inside to make you addictive to it. And also pay attention how much you grind - last time i got one homemade style late machiatto ( i know it was homemade as i was watching how they did it) but as it was 1.5 dl of pure fresh grinded beans, it hit me hard, i couldn't fall a sleep till 5 am, and i had that coffe around 2 pm.

"Blood pressure can go up significantly after caffeine use because it seems to block a hormone our bodies produce to keep our arteries open wide. When caffeine makes the blood vessels in our bodies narrower, this leaves less room for blood flow which, in turn, raises blood pressure. The blood vessels supplying blood to the brain can also narrow as much as 27% after caffeine intake which can slow down our ability to think and perform mental tasks."

https://www.vascularhealthclinics.or...scular-system/

Any chance you may be going diabetic or insulin resistant?

You better watch out, everyone will be trying to make an appointment with you for various consultations!

(Regarding the caffeine thing, don't let yourself get dehydrated, that will give caffeine a leg up.)

You have no idea what the real energy drinks are. Everything you call that are made of coffin. Try something coffin free, like https://www.google.com/search?client...&q=sagan+dayla
