Does tablets supports USB boot and linux?
I never owned any tablet so dont know how exactly they function , but seems it would be handy to use when you are in move, but i cant imagine to use either windows or android, it need to be regular linux.

There are ways to do it but tbh I think it would be kind of cumbersome to use linux on a touchscreen.

PineTab and JingPad seem to be the best bets, but availability is probably a big issue. As is how long they'll be around for, since consumer Linux mobile projects unfortunately have a pretty poor record so far.
Otherwise, you may be able to live with a Chromebook/ChromeOS tablet. https://www.xda-developers.com/linux-apps-chrome-os/ If you have any old smartphones you're not using any more, you might be interested in PostmarketOS.

Android is a nice OS and very functional. if you do any dev at all you need at least a few Androids laying around. Google is leading the way on all web protocols. so its a great OS for testing and building cutting edge web apps.
windows tablets suck. they use too much of the resources. and linux is too rare to get anything running on it. no native apps. use a computer as a computer and a portable as a portable. #

Linux is perhaps the most versatile OS available. Capable of running on a variety of devices, the open source operating system is used in a variety of uses. You can install Linux on tablets, phones, PCs, even game consoles and that's just the beginning.
