I wonder if the The Little Mermaid is better than they say
It looks good on this clip. I wonder if the woke story and the fact it is about two hours lets it down. I think for the cgi alone it could be worth viewing.

Although most adults hate this song, I suspect many children will love it because it has 'butt' in. I have a feeling this will be on repeat over and over and over and over in every parents car this summer. And I must admit each time she sings 'butt' I giggle. I think in the film she is a gull (seagull is not the correct term as they do not go out to sea - see qi). And that is why you have those noises in the song.

My son and his GF ( both 17 ) went to see it for lack of something better to do.
Both said it was crap at best.
