the future of profit from online porn - paysites, where to go from here?
I just wrote this as a reply to a post on Xbiz forum about “paysites - where now to promote” located here https://www.xbiz.net/discussions/adult-community/66691/paysites-where-now-to-promote?page=1&#reply-494226
I've previously alluded to my insights on this subject on GFY, however, I have yet to disclose my comprehensive conclusions, especially as someone who has been autonomously operating a paysite since 2001. 1) The critical initial step involves the remastering of your antiquated content. Optimal outcomes can be achieved using Topaz Video Enhance, a sophisticated tool that imbues your footage with the sheen of an advanced 8K camera system valued at around $100,000. RIFE, specifically through the FlowFrames app, is equally valuable in the process of interpolating any 30fps content to 60fps. 2) The vast computational resources required for the aforementioned processes necessitate the procurement of an array of computing towers. I've personally invested in twenty Xeon machines equipped with 3080 video cards, which have been operating tirelessly around the clock for the last two years. 3) It's important to recognize that conventional 2D videos are rapidly being supplanted as primary revenue sources. I advocate for a strategic focus on VR180 content creation. The Canon R5C with a dual fisheye lens configuration is my recommendation for this purpose. 4) In terms of future developments and potential disruptions, you may want to consider using your computing infrastructure to implement DeepFake AI technologies. These can replace all faces in your existing content with artificially created models, eliminating the requirement for release forms. You might be skeptical, but I can assure you some webmasters have already embraced this, and have begun transforming their content to remove any resemblance to real people. 5) Once all real-life models are replaced, the same DeepFake AI technology can be harnessed to create hundreds of permutations of your existing content. This can be achieved by substituting various faces, and leveraging up-and-coming AI that can generate new videos based on your past creations. 6) Lastly, brace yourself for the upcoming reality of fully AI-generated, VR interactive content. Picture commanding your Apple Vision Pro Version 4 to manifest a captivating blonde, who you can then interact with as though she were real. In this brave new world, one might question, what will the traditional 2D video be worth amidst such immersive AI experiences? I welcome private messages from anyone interested in deeper understanding or potential collaborations. Best Regards, Jim nebraskacoeds.com vrgoddess.com |

Isn't a huge problem that the big tube sites have such massive archives of people's content?

The big tube sites have a huge amount of overly compressed content that won't be that profitable for them, even if they "fix" the content with ai and make it clear while it is true that tube sites hold a huge amount of content, this is more of a problem for them. The tube sites really see themselves as an alternative form of hosting for adult video creators. The tubes much prefer smaller producers, especially onlyfan level solo producers, because they won't bitch as much when their paychecks get smaller and smaller mostly because most of them aren't paying for models, they're just filming their own bodies, AND because they don't have such huge archives of less and less profitable old porno videos.

you can see here, just as an example, of a producer, who has been in the industry for decades, but thinks every audience should get the same message.
the xbitch member (against the rules to mention the name -- or link! LOL) is not the same as the gfy member. different interests, jobs, and attitudes. the two groups don't have the same day-to-day or overall issues. in my opinion, the huge thing that changed for the paysite business is the switch from mass marketing to targeted marketing, almost to the one-on-one level. most of the paysite owners i know are still using tubes as their primary marketing channel. what's the clickthru rate for a tube video? what's the conversion rate? its an easier way to market, but its not effective. OF and cam models use a one-on-one approach. each customer is special and unique. those models are getting the sales that traditional paysites used to bank. of course, i'm only mentioning the changes in marketing tactics, since GFY is primarily marketers and affiliates. the other points regarding updating content are important and producers should read the OP #
