My wife is Hawaiian, the damage to the Banyan tree brought her to tears. She grew up in Hawaii and the tree which was planted in the 1800's had a special connection with the people from all the islands. She told me she had visited it several times over the years.
Someone showed me some pictures of it after the fire and some think it will survive.

This is horrible.
This is all because of climate change and global warming. It's getting hotter, it's raining less, and droughts are much more common. Everything is so dry that a small fire quickly grows and gets out of control. This started in California. then Oregon, Washington, Montana, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas.... Canada..... Europe is having issues too, Greece... Just north of me is Paradise, California, which burned down... People were trapped in the town and could not get out. Eventually this will happen with a large town and thousands of people will die...

The Paradise fire was caused by a downed PG&E power line, the fire spread thru a developed area of homes. Had nothing to do with drought. The 10-year average in California through July 10 is 2,591,523 acres. Last year on this date, 4,845,027 acres had already burned. This being a hot year, how do you explain this, maybe because snow levels, maybe because of recent work done in forest maintenance done by the order of Trump a couple years ago. But so called Climate change is an excuse |

Climate change contributes to wildfires in several ways, primarily by creating conditions that make forests and vegetation more susceptible to ignition and promoting the spread of fires. Here are some of the key ways in which climate change influences wildfires:
Increased Temperatures: Higher temperatures associated with climate change lead to drier conditions, which in turn increase the likelihood of wildfires. Warmer temperatures can cause increased evaporation and drying of vegetation, making it more flammable. Drought: Climate change can lead to more frequent and severe droughts in certain regions. Drought conditions reduce the moisture content of plants and soil, making them more susceptible to ignition and allowing fires to spread more easily. Reduced Snowpack: In areas where snow is a major water source, reduced snowpack due to warmer temperatures can result in decreased water availability during the dry season. This can contribute to drier vegetation and more favorable conditions for wildfires. Changes in Precipitation Patterns: Climate change can alter precipitation patterns, leading to shifts in when and where rainfall occurs. This can create periods of prolonged dryness followed by intense rainfall, which can promote the growth of vegetation that later becomes fuel for wildfires. Vegetation Changes: Increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can stimulate plant growth, leading to denser vegetation. While this might seem counterintuitive, denser vegetation can become more susceptible to fires because there is more potential fuel available. Insect Infestations and Disease: Warmer temperatures and extended growing seasons can lead to outbreaks of insects and diseases that weaken trees and other vegetation. This can result in the accumulation of dead or dying plant material, which serves as fuel for fires. Longer Fire Seasons: As the climate warms, the fire season in many regions is becoming longer. This extended fire season means that there are more opportunities for fires to ignite and spread, increasing the overall risk. Stronger Winds: Climate change can influence wind patterns, leading to stronger and more unpredictable winds. Strong winds can quickly spread fires over larger areas, making them more difficult to control. Altered Atmospheric Circulation: Changes in atmospheric circulation patterns can affect humidity levels and weather conditions. These changes can contribute to the development of conditions conducive to fire ignition and spread. Positive Feedback Loops: Wildfires themselves contribute to climate change by releasing large amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. This further exacerbates the warming trend and creates a positive feedback loop, where more frequent and intense fires contribute to even more adverse climate conditions. #LoveScience. #StopIdiots.

To be honest, I've been to this place in Hawaii and I could see big resorts going up soon after all this is over and it's out of the news. I hate resorts, would rather stay in a small shack near the beach if I went to Hawaii. |

While so called environmental types were concerned about the spotted Owl, they let the forest fill up with dead branches and such. Fuel for the fires. Man made mistakes generate a lot of problems. I remember when a scheduled burn went wrong once, it was incompetence.

It's horrible that the federal government is only going to help Maui fire victims with a one time $700 payment per household, yet illegal aliens get carte blanche.

Common sense is in short supply, the earth is cooling down, not heating up. Managing the forests would do a better job helping the ecological system than a battery powered car built with materials dug up by slave labor any day.

Maui, like the Kelowna fires, is 100% an inside job.
Took two days to get water bombers here in Kelowna. Our forests are poorly managed. They purposefully want there to be as many wildfires as possible to push their climate hoax in summer, COVID hoax in winter.

George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose
Ashli Babbitt was never a real person January 6th was a massive fed psy-op The forests are being burnt on purpose to push a "climate emergency" The government talks about UFOs to distract from other bullshit Jeffery Epstein did not kill himself Hunter Biden's laptop is real The 2020 election was stolen 215 bodies of children were not found on Church properties in Canada Masks and "vaccines" were not needed for 98%+ of the population The vast majority of celebrities are put there by the satanic establishment Certain groups are highly over-represented in positions of institutional power Need I go on?
