With alexa gone, how do you estimate websites popularity these days?
What the title says

I assume you mean a compeitors since google analytics and search console does that
several people use 3rd party software like SEMRush but it can be wrong There is similarweb - though again if someone doesn't have their site set up correctly it won't read much Ubersuggest is another one you can use There are many out there problem is how much do you have money wise and check each one out for accuracy before signing up or buying it. NOTE Alexa wasn't the best anyways though many depended on it

similarweb to get a rough estimate, mine shows 1.2million visitors a month, but its roughly 2. so not accurate to the right amount, but you get a rough number.

I miss Alexa. It wasn't precise, but was great for ballparking.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've taken a stab at signing up for SimilarWeb, and the sample stats when not logged in look great, but it looks like it is $200 to $450 monthly. Are any of you all paying for it and, if so, which account level seems useful to you?

Alexa Internet, Inc. was a web traffic analysis company based in San Francisco, California. It was founded as an independent company by Brewster Kahle and Bruce Gilliat in 1996. Alexa provided web traffic data, global rankings, and other information on over 30 million websites.[3] It was acquired by Amazon in 1999 for $250 million in stock.[4] Amazon discontinued the Alexa Internet service on May 1, 2022.[5][6]
Alexa estimated website traffic based on a sample of millions of Internet users using browser extensions as well as from sites that had chosen to install an Alexa script.[7] As of 2020, its website was visited by over 400 million people every month. Looks like the spooks took another program in house.
