Paxum what the fuck is going on ????
Hi guys,
Paxum users are waiting for their payments since more than 3 weeks now. Checked a bit the news and its not good at all, they are linked to many scandals ( one involving Trump) I had to fight with them for weeks to get my EFT reversed and be able to withdraw my money. Tons of people are waiting and they keep on bullshitting everyone about their new "banking partner" could it be that they will shut down soon ? Got all my sponsors linked to them and it worked fine for years, but now I dont trust them anymore, they keep on lying to us and we don't know what's going on. Anyone else having issues with them ?

I had so much money(to me) on my epass when it went down, easily a couple of weeks of non-stop coke, chicks, and booze.
Good luck.

We did recently have a change in banking partner, and as a result some EFT withdrawals (in particular, EUR EFT) have been experiencing delays. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
We do have other withdrawal methods available such as withdrawal to external card, and crypto withdrawal, and of course the Prepaid card (where available). All these options are operating quickly and efficiently. If you're encountering any issues or delays with your withdrawals, our customer support team is ready to assist you with your query, please reach out to them directly so they can look into your specific situation.

Well damn.. if I don't reply quickly, then there's something wrong.
If I reply quickly, then there's something wrong.... I've been in the middle of moving, and I haven't visited GFY in a few days. My timing was such that I caught this thread right after it was posted

In over ten years using Paxum I have seen countless banking partners.. could it be Paxum is just running out of banking options?

The payment options has been severly limited. Many pay out in USD - but there is no way to withdraw in USD. Insted one is forced to accept Paxum’s horrible conversion rate which is several percent worse than the going market right. How can that be?

Yep, the Paxum conversion rate is really low :-( 90% of my sponsors are linked to paxum. But what if they dont find a new banking partner and just shut down ? Next payments are to be sent on the 1st, dont know if we should remove Paxum from our payment methods mmmm. BTW I managed to withdraw my paxum money by crypto, after 2 weeks arguing with an idiot from paxum support, Kelly. They had the gumption to tell me that my bank was the real issue here zzzzzz

"You have the choice to add a different BANK" """All your previous transfers were successfully validated and sent on time. However, these both transfers were returned as per bank's internal policy without further details received"
Got in touch with my bank two days ago, they never heard about the last two EFT. They should be honest with us and stop all this bullshit

ePassporte was an online payment processing company that provided electronic wallets and virtual Visa cards. It was founded in 2003 by Christopher Mallick. The service allowed users to transfer money, make online purchases, and withdraw cash from ATMs using their virtual Visa card or physical card. ePassporte was particularly popular in the adult entertainment industry and with freelance workers and small businesses that needed a flexible payment solution.
How It Started Foundation and Concept: ePassporte was launched by Christopher Mallick in 2003. The company was based on the idea of creating a secure, convenient, and versatile electronic payment system. The main products offered were the ePassporte Account (an electronic wallet) and the ePassporte Visa Virtual Card. Services Offered: ePassporte Account: Users could load funds into their account through various methods, including bank transfers and credit cards. The account could be used to transfer money to other ePassporte users or to make online payments. ePassporte Visa Virtual Card: A virtual Visa card that allowed users to make online purchases anywhere Visa was accepted. This was particularly useful for people who did not have access to traditional credit cards. ePassporte Visa Electron Card: A physical card linked to the ePassporte account, which could be used to withdraw cash from ATMs and make purchases in physical stores. Target Market: The service gained significant traction in the online adult entertainment industry, online gaming, and with freelancers and small businesses that operated internationally. Its ease of use and accessibility made it a preferred payment method for these markets. How It Ended Regulatory Issues and Visa Suspension: In September 2010, Visa abruptly suspended ePassporte’s access to its network. This suspension meant that users could no longer use their ePassporte Visa cards to withdraw funds or make transactions. The sudden action by Visa was a major blow to the company and its users. ePassporte's main downfall was the fact that all of their funds are held in a bank that is located offshore (not in the USA) and therefore it can circumvent this new law and the USA has no way of making sure the bank abides by the new rules of this new law. This is why Visa dropped the ball on ePass. Communication and Fund Access Issues: Following the suspension, ePassporte struggled with communication and transparency. Users were left in the dark about the status of their funds, and many experienced significant delays in accessing their money. The lack of clear communication from ePassporte exacerbated user frustration and distrust. Company Shutdown: In early 2011, ePassporte ceased operations. Users were eventually able to retrieve their funds, but the process was lengthy and complex. The company’s website went offline, and its founder, Christopher Mallick, faced scrutiny and criticism for the way the shutdown was handled. Aftermath: The collapse of ePassporte left many users and businesses scrambling for alternative payment solutions. The incident also highlighted the risks associated with relying on a single payment processor, especially one that operates outside the traditional banking system. Legacy and Impact Reputation: The sudden shutdown and the handling of the situation damaged ePassporte’s reputation and left a lasting impression on the payment processing industry. Users were more cautious about relying on similar services in the future. Industry Changes: The ePassporte saga underscored the importance of regulatory compliance and the potential consequences of failing to meet the standards set by major financial networks like Visa. It also emphasized the need for clear communication and contingency plans in the event of service disruptions. In summary, ePassporte was a pioneering electronic payment service that met an untimely and turbulent end due to regulatory issues and poor crisis management. Its story serves as a cautionary tale for fintech companies and their users. Chris made a last reply on Blackhatworld, and used the words "Money is in motion" Hence you see the comment "money in motion" a lot when it is regarding EP We at ePassporte are as distressed as you, our valued cardholders, over an action that we did not see coming and as of today we still have received no good basis for it. First, be assured that your funds are fully safe and protected. You are owed that and it will be fulfilled. The funds are secure. Second, ePassporte is working with the St. Kitts bank to work out how all payments will be made and when. The details are complicated, because there are funds in motion and where and when they settle requires us to all be careful that we fully and properly account for all those funds and their rightful owner. This issue stems from our processing and reporting ability through the Visa system and their processor. Third, ePassporte's most important asset has always been our account holder's. We are not going to undermine that asset by treating cardholders in any manner other than the best we can. Most of us have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with banks and card associations that simply "cut us off" and did not pay us. Those actions were limited to card acquiring (merchant accounts), not card issuing, which is what we do. We can all take some comfort in the fact that this situation is not anything like the acquiring side of the business. We all fully understand that communication to our cardholders is critical. However, it does not help any of us if we are constantly updating you on the basis of the calls that take place almost hourly. It seems to us that giving you facts, based on agreements we are working on is the best form of communication. This is what we will be doing. When we know something, that is a fact, we will report it, quickly. Our staff is all working diligently to resolve these issues and the many moving and complicated parts of getting the funds returned. Therefore, please do not mistake our silence as "hiding", "avoiding" or "stringing you along". We too have funds that are stuck in the system, as well as massive costs of operation without any income. Rest assured that when we know, you will know and you will all be satisfied with the results. Again, your money is safe. For those of you that have been in the industry for many years, I hope you will recall that I have a very strong track record of fighting for the rights of webmasters, program sponsors, billing companies, merchants and the industry; that dedication continues. Thanks you for your understanding in this difficult time and for your support over the last 8 years of our operations. Chris Mallick For ePassporte

Not too dissimilar to Paxum, that is until they introduced a wallet feature, which turned out to be Chris Mallick's wallet, so that he could go spend everyone's funds on trying to become a movie maker, creating a film about how he made his fortune from adult processing, minus the bit where he scammed everyone to make said film.

chexx/firstchoice, wirecard, epayments, epassporte, zombaio/redpass... there's probs a lot more, those are just off the top of my head when firstchoice went down it almost crashed my biz just as it was getting off the ground. I got my money back eventually (that was meant to be sent to my contractors, was in the hole paying out of pocket for weeks-even got my biz bank account closed due to sending payments to them). I hope you eventually got paid back too! was seriously the most stressful experience of my life, I feel what you went through but yeah, none of them last forever, it's a really distinct, observable pattern with companies that accept adult not sure if this would work for a FR resident but look into US banks that accept online applications. it's been a while but Chase used to. with a US account you could receive ACH direct from a lot of sponsors/sites and then either transfer to your FR bank or withdraw Euros at the ATM not ideal with exchange fees but safer than 3rd party services. good luck however you proceed

Experiencing delays on my side too. Took time to being validated and then somehow my bank refused the wire? they refunded my account without so much details, trying again. But im getting worried.
As someone mentioned, 3rd party payment providers working with the adult industry have a long history of closing at some point. In the meantime, 9K€ in limbo between paxum and my bank.

And then pay another % FX and ATM fee to withdraw from an ATM if I would be needing euros. Basically losing maybe 6-7% total in fees if I understand correctly, which is a lot. Handy for emergencies, but for consistent use I’d pass. |

after reading your reply (thank you for making the situation clear, apparently gen support is giving peeps the run around) I replied to a cammer on another forum who is in the same boat. basically reiterating what you stated above as to the cause of her disappeared EFTs after that, 3 others messaged me asking me for more info on the situation, which I obvs cannot provide. I'm not gonna email you for more info as I'm sure you must be inundated by messages even more than usual right now. plus I'm not a Paxum user myself. I'd just be clogging up your inbox until this issues gets sorted, could there be an automatic process put in place for payees to recall all the languishing EUR EFTs so that Paxum users can withdraw those overdue funds via one of the other methods you suggested? I think that's the decent thing for Paxum to do to mitigate the stress and need of the user base I hope all is amazing with you and thank you for all the work you do

Has everyone received their EFT in EUR?
I wrote to support and they said that both time MY bank refused it? Which seems odds as they are pretty lenient on any kind of transfer.

The complete lack of proactive information from Paxum when there's a major issue impacting customers pisses me off. I had 2 EFTs mysteriously rejected, before I came on here and found another thread which explained why.
The EFT transfer option still shows now, even though it can't possibly work. By the way, has anyone noticed that the Paxum app will pop up authentication for a website login without needing to enter the PIN? By the way #2, nice to see you here Ruth, can you please respond to the email I sent in December 2023, and that I've poked you about a few more times over the past 6 months, without response? |

Can confirm crypto (USDT, ERC-20) works
With the $15 withdraw fee, crappy exchange rate (how is 1.00 USD worth 0.97 USDT?) and gas fees it ended up costing like $30, and my Paxum balance is now a couple of bucks negative, lol |

The fact that Paxum still operates in the current global financial landscape is impressive. It is close to impossible to run an international money transfer service for this industry.
If you are serious about your business and you rely on Paxum for your income and you do not have a plan in place to transition how you get paid... Well good luck. |
