That's pretty cool!
My maid is deaf mute and have taught me sign language. Once I started learning I also started noticing more deaf people around, and I've become acquainted with quite a few. They all have their own little sounds, I could identify several of them from sound alone as they are quite unique. You also start to learn different sounds and tones, and will eventually be able to pick up enough context from a simple sound to know roughly what they mean. I'm curious what this dude is trying to express here, what are his inner signs (deaf version of an inner voice) as he's making these sounds and acting all cool? Either way, good for him! Not often you see a deaf mute person from the 3rd world living their best life.

This is the full version of the track, called "OKO LELA EPA YA NANI", which apparently translates to something like "Who will cry for you now?"

backup in that track was pretty wicked
was curious about the lang as well (the DRC has about a zillion and I didn't understand a word they were saying so couldn't begin to guess) and discovered it was Sotho, according to google at least when I looked up the same title you did I like the round sounds of Bantu languages though deaf I bet he can still feel the beats like everyone else, that's a body thing that extends far beyond the eardrums. and yes, curious what he was expressing so interesting you have personal experience with a deaf mute person. was wondering how everyone involved was able to communicate what was going on. I've only ever vaguely heard of Keller. must take a lot of time, patience, written notes and of course signing. hype you've learned it think the OP was confused by a vibesy crew supporting a differently-abled person and speaking in a non-english language. sorry it's not Sum 41 dude and also featuring a little person. cool vid & track about brotherly love and acceptance

In the more educated parts of the western world they have realized that using sign language you can communicate with your baby way way before they are able to use and understand speech. This is put into practice in a couple of countries already. It's an intriguing thing, deaf culture. Within the community, it's seen as a different human experience, not as a disability. Objectively however, you'd rather be blind. I could go on forever on this topic, but I know this thread is more about making fun of unfortunate people in the 3rd world so yea...

Oh, I am positive that he will. His not answering is a simple oversight, I am sure.
I am sure whatever Trump said about Africa was something like "Great country. A lot of great talent comes from there, and they have Lions too" |

with savage pictures fill their gaps and o’er unhabitable downs place elephants for want of towns -Jonathan Swift I really like Swift. he had fun with words but the above is iconic for a very diff reason. since Trump was brought up by the OP, another lil ditty that is oddly apt so many centuries later (the first one I have memorized, this one I did a copy/paste but both from the same book) To Statesmen would you give a Wipe, You print it in Italick Type. When Letters are in vulgar Shapes, ’Tis ten to one the Wit escapes; But when in CAPITALS exprest, The dullest Reader smokes the Jest;
