How to continue a legacy?

Greetings. I'm Shemp Jr. It's a pleasure to meet you all.

So you've probably heard that Shemp has passed away. It's true he has. Peacefully.

I'll cut to the chase. My father told me that if I could find the password to this forum, then I should reach out.

So I set off on a quest and filed through one page after another. Minutes went by, and then hours. The amount of passwords Shemp has is legendary. But then it hit me. Like Las Vegas buffet after a night of drinking. It must be saved somewhere on his computer. Eventually I found the password hidden away in a random folder.

So here I am. With a simple question.

How does one continue such a legacy? Of course, I still remember the legendary Shemp URL, which sadly is no longer his. I also understand that the industry has changed drastically over that time. With the all-consuming power of the Tube sites. But I want to make a mark, in honor of my dad and what he created.

So any ideas? I know he runs the Outlaw website currently. But I'm thinking bigger. Any advice is welcome. Industry or the like.

Oh, and Shemp leaves you with this one piece of wisdom. "Never settle."*
He told me that after I asked him if he had any more advice.

Thank you
Shemp Jr

Your intentions are quite honorable!

My first question would be: Do you have any experience being a webmaster? Can you code? Do you have experience media buying?

If you're starting at 0 when it comes to affiliate marketing, then my suggestion is to start looking at your father's TGP and how he ran it. Learn the basics of operating a TGP, hosting, scripts, etc. and start gradually building your skillset from there.

I was thinking about you all day today and wondering if any would even want to try and pick up the reigns from the racehorse that was your father, he fought one hell of a fight against a disease the eventually just caught up to him. I can not think of a better place for you to possibly learn from people that watched him achieve so much in his time spent in the industry. Check those PM's and I am sure you will receive some sage advise. You already kicked the first stone over, keep on digging, knowing your father, im sure there are a plethora of clues to solve. Respect!

My condolences.

Your father was a good man, he was always very patient and helpful with me.

Good luck with handling your legacy, and I'd be happy to answer any questions, or help with anything.

Peace
