How can you format a brand new drive to NTFS with XP?

I read somewhere that you CANT format an XP drive... So you may have to do a dual boot..

But hopefully one of these guys that is really good with this stuff will give you a better answer..

Start--run---cmd--enter

format Q: /FS:NTFS /V:Label

Replace Q: with whatever letter your drive is and replace Label with whatever you'd like to label the drive (optional).

I have done this a bunch of times. SpaceAce has the answer that I use. It works perfectly. Takes about 3 minutes. Everything is right there to do it.
