How to Start in the Online Porn Biz...

Okay..this is a continued thread from my other post "What Made you Work with Porn".

I want to start my own Online Porn WebSite, problem is I have no idea where and/or how to start.

I know that I have to learn how to do HTML. But thats about it! So, help a young lady out and let me know what I can do!!

FYI: I am an online actress. I do live solo performaces for $2.50 a minute,to give you an idea of what I am all about.(which means NO i do not do anything with other guys or girls!)

So, anything you can tell me to kick my ass in the right direction would be GREAT!!

Everyone rags WYSIWYG html editors but a start might be Front Page 2000 since you can edit the html in it in code format. Some of the manuals from the Learn html etc in 14 (or 21) days are good to help figure things out. The 24 hour versions that company above puts out are awful rapid for most people in their learning curves. SAMS is the publisher.

The hubby uses FP to toss things together then edits it all in the code to make it usuable for Netscape etc. Other times he uses notepad but it took him awhile to learn enough coding to do that. Look at the source code on sites you like helps. Alot of the free java etc has the site listed in the source code so you can go get it.

But you have to have an idea what you want to do with the site first. Soft, hard, raunch etc. From one cammie to another.

I started with "Coffecup 5.0" It just about makes all your pages for you.
It's free and you can learn most of the basics from it.
After you get better you can try something different.
At least start simple and read a lot.
Leasrn what you can about webmastering and page building.
You are at the best place on the net to learn.

First thing is getting to know how to make a webpage (you can use something like Microsoft Frontpage 2000 or DreamWeaver from http://www.macromedia.com )

Second thing is learning how to upload the webpage onto a free host. A good program is something like CuteFTP (http://www.cuteftp.com )

Third important thing is doing some sites for practice. You might want to check out the Newbie board at http://www.netpond.com/webmaster/neoboard

Do you do iFriends? I know a few girls that make good money there. You put do shows and charge by the minute. Not sure what the split is, but I think iFriends takes half.

Frontpage kicks ass as an editor. I've been using 2000 for a while now. The way it kicks out tables is fast and easy. The only thing I don't like about it is how it changes some characters around like "&" becomes "&" Pfftt... leave it to Microsoft.

If I were just starting out, I would make sites on free hosts and submit them to all the links sites. I would copy the gallery pages on the sites and submit copies to all the TGP sites. As soon as I had a few hundred put aside, I'd buy a domain, paid hosting and
content. You can put lotsa sites on 1 domain.
I would buy more domains and more content as the money coming in would allow.
I would use Front Page, cuz that's what I've always used and all I know how to use.
The rest of the software you can pretty much find free on the net at download.com or tucows.com .

Haha, I found that out the hard way. Seeing how magnatique and all his buddies were jerking people around I decided to jump on the bandwagon. But the only problem was that I just decided to give up cause what he was doing seemed like too much work

Anyways, if you want to start an adult site, you're best bet is an avs site for now. You can make money overnight with those. But there is such a crap load of stuff that you have to learn about this industry that it will probably take you months if not longer to generate your first dollar

Oooops, sorry, I didn't see that she didn't know html, my bad. The easiest and cheapest way to get started is to use the free editors that come with Netscape or Microsoft IE. Just read the tutorials and practice a bit. Then get some free content from a sponsor that everybody and their brother hasn't used, like pornmegabucks.com . Make a simple thumbnail gallery (15 pics, 2 banners to the sponsor that you get the content from ). Next, get a free host account with a place that isn't banned on every tgp, may I suggest http://www.pleasuremedia.com/freehosting/index.html . Now go to http://www.waycoolsubmit.com and submit your gallery to every place that doesn't require a reciprocal link. Then submit to all the other tgp sites and just put 3 or 4 reciprocals on each page.
Repeat this every day until you can afford a domain, hosting and content.

Html is pretty easy to learn. But getting it all down, and putting it all together will still take you a bit.

Anways, what's so wrong with what you're doing right now??? If you are making good money, then stick with it. I can assure you that the money in this industry is already being consumed by too few. Starting out, even with html knowledge, takes hours of reading, hours of programming, hours of a lot of things Oh well, damn, it's all just a pain in the ass.

Haha, taking wilbo's advice will take you about 40 hours, and help you generate about 10 dollars a month.

See, that what some people do to make it in this industry. They create one free site on a free host. Submit it to about 100 link list sites, and make 10 dollars a day May not seem like much yet, and of course it isn't. But then they build another one and do the same. Then another one and do the same.

Then before you know it, they have hundreds of free sites on free hosts, and are making 1000's a day. But it takes a long time.

Anyways, stick with what you do. It will take you a very long time to make it in this industry. If you want to make a lot of money overnight, then you're in for a huge surprise. Do multiple sites. www.ifriends.com and there are several others as well. You can make a lot.

If you don't want to get naked online yourself because your parents might find you, well do you have any hot friends that would be willing to???

Again, people who run their own paysites, like you, can make a lot byjust getting naked and selling it to customers.

You could always try to sell yourself or a friend exclusively to a plug in content provider.

Yeah FP Express is a fairly easy to learn prog but you do have to learn to edit out the garbage so it looks at least passable to Netscape etc. Gates didn't do that for no reason. lol Odd thing is, even IE doesn't read some of FP's code right. lmbo

But get FP 2000 at first chance. Its much more powerful. But still needs editing. Works great to throw a page together quickly! 5 mins to rough the page, 20 to edit out the trash. lol
