Cogent - what's the catch ?
Hi guys, can someone tell me what's the catch of cogentco.com ?
Common, 100 Mbs for $1000, do they only deliver this if the surfer is on their own network ? They are connected to Above.net, if someone in Europe downloads 1 Gig of my site hosted at Cogent, Cogent has to pay Abovenet, don't they ? And Abovenet asks around $ .90 / Gig for BIG accounts. Oh yeah, before I forget. Are they slow (timeouts, spikes, other shit) ? Thanks, Fuckkk. fuck you too |

First, they sell bandwidth to ISPs for $3000 for 100 Mbps and that's not including router, switches, back haul and other costs.
