I never lost a fucking penny because of tube sites.

However the closing of the porn theaters really made me dance in order to adjust to what was the new reality back then.

In the end remaining current is nothing more than

* Repackaging
* Changing the medium (ie: film to VHS to DVD to Thumb Drives)
* Giving the Johns something different to jerk off to.
* Distribution

However STRICT censorship and making porn highly illegal goes a long long long way to giving it great retail value. So back in the day we could spend $30,000 on a movie and get back over a million bucks in profit because law enforcement made it hard for Johns to get their hands on it.
