I am selling my sig for the month of November, but this time the money is going to charity!

On November 4th, I will be taking part in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes.

As a few people here know, my daughter is a diabetic and she is much stronger than me. She goes through life on an insulin pump and drawing blood to test before meals.

I never ask anyone to feel sorry for her or other diabetics, but I would like to ask my fellow adult community to donate to an organization that is actively looking for a cure.

I will be selling my sig for next month. The donations are tax deductible, none of it will go to me.

If you want to donate 20 bucks, I will appreciate it too! Remember, every bit counts!

If you want to buy my sig, post the bid in this thread. I will say congrats and thank you's to the winner tomorrow at midnight.

Thanks for the good word, this is the first year I've done this walk and it feels good to do something to contribute to a cure!

Heres some info on the two types of diabetes from diabetes.org:

Silly Gabey! You are a type 2 and can control it with weight loss. The doctors told you the longer you let it go the higher the chance that it can change to a type 1. The stress on your pancreas adds up over time and can cause a type 2 to become a type 1. Now go walk the dog;)
