ahha nah, I have quite a few Hawaiins and Samoans in my family and they all hate mainlanders and whitey pretty bad.

My aunt was a race traitor so I got all kinds of brown people in my extended family.

I don't know if the same has happened in the US, but with the American philosophy of "sue anything that moves erratically and might cause me to spill this hot cup of coffee on myself", perhaps Lensman was just playing safe..
