If anything Powell will help the Undecideds, and give a push to the Center Republicans to move over to Obama.
The endorsement is the least of what was significant of Powells comments. The fact he denounced the McCain campaign for inciting that Muslims are bad people, the False Robocalls, and the Horrendous decision making he had when he picked Palin as his VP. On top of all of that, he also displayed the truth about the republican party leaning way too much to the right than they should, especially shown by selecting Palin. Not to mention the erratic and irresponsible response to the "Economic Crisis" and lack of a clear message besides harping on Bill Ayers for 2+ weeks and continuing with it after declaring him a "washed up terrorist" |

No matter what the polls say and how retarded looking can McCain get while caught on cams..
My perception is that the second before every single voter chooses the right box is what's going to decide.

Exactly.
He needs a good 15-20 point leads to count for all those that change their mind, or do not vote come crunch time. A lot 'say' that they are for change and shit. But get them in a dark booth, alone, with their racism and fears, at vote time... We'll see. |

Plus, the CNN Poll of Polls released this weekend showed Obama was only up 6 points - down 2 points from last week. Should be interesting to see any changes after the Colin Powell endorsement though.

Is Diebold still making most of the voting machines?
Is their code still super secret? Have they received any recent bailouts? |

Well let's see if the whole affirmative action since the public traffic went multicolour brought anything more than an increase in hidden racism.

You have to look at the electoral college - not the general polls.
Obama is kicking ass in the states that matter. The two biggest battle ground states FL and OH are leaning towards Obama. Even if Obama lost both of those states, he would still win the electoral college. The next two important battle ground states are NC and MO and Obama has a slight lead. If Obama lost FL,OH,NC, and MO (highly unlikely) - he would still win the electoral college. |

Exactly right.
NPR this week reported that, voters aside in the formality of voting, Obama has the electoral college handily won. |

He'll win.
Then he can confine Zing to TN, and bar him from talking more politics of any kind. |

I can see you're like me. Too many crushed dreams over the last 2 elections. That hollow feeling inside.... It ain't over till the Diebold machine sings.

Nice Avatar. I voted for RP in the primaries, too. EVERYTHING he said about the US capital markets came true. His finance adviser, Peter Schiff, is dead on.
