How do i go about doing this? I'm sure every man in California would vote for this. Imagine how awesome that would be. Marry like every 10 years and just move your other wives up in the ranks. No problem if everyone is happy right?

I'm alright with gays being married as long as they can help me pass a law to allow men to have 3 wives in California. Men would be more happy and productive, kids would get more attention, less cheating, Less diseases, society would be better altogether. If you look at any other animal they have multiple partners but humans are just supposed to be stuck with one? Thats BS. Doesn't seem right. Just you watch I'm going to get that on a ballot someday but I need you gays to pass your prop 8 stuff first to help my cause in the courts. If the people vote against it the first time we will just keep fighting and fighting until they see the light. NO ON PROP 8. =)

I assume that part of the reason the Mormons in Utah spent so much money attacking legal gay marriage in California is that they are pissy that their own uncommon form of marriage is not legally sanctioned.

I'm fine with throwing the Mormons a bone there. If a man thinks he can make enough money to support six wives, and the type of marriage he and his first wife chose was a potentially polygamous one, why stop them?

Obviously, if the initial marriage contract was for monogamy, then, no, I don't think one partner gets to change that without an okay from the other partner. But it is the case for all legally-binding contracts that both parties must agree to any change proposed.

In Big Love he owns 3 adjacent houses, with a huge shared back yard, and spends the night in each (including the wife that lives in it) on a roster system. The wives are called "sister" wives so there's no threesomes or foursomes happening

The reality of that situation would be that since each wife only gets you every third day they're going to be 3 times as horny. You're expected to perform every single night and go above and beyond because she hasn't had it for 3 days.

It's a weird lifestyle but it's a great show... apart from Bill Paxton's wooden acting...

That is such a stupid thing to write. Please tell me you didnt actually send that. Gay people are not asking for extra rights, just the right to marry the person they love.

If you want to pass a law allowing people to marry multiple partners, you go for it. As long as gay people can do the same. All we want is the same rights as every one else.
