I'm just a few hours south of Sturgis, haven't been up there during the rally in a very long time though. I seen my first set of boobs in public back then lol. I think I was like 10 years old.

When gas is cheap, Sturgis is way too crowded. The last two years have been low attendance due to the high price of gas keeps those with RV's and trailers home. When it is just bikes it is not a problem.

I haven't been to Sturgis since 1999. I think that road trip was the best one of all my years of riding. 2 weeks, thousands of miles, and one hell of a rally

There were 1 million people there in 2006. Sturgis wasn't built to hold that many people. Hell, South Dakota only has 3/4 of million in the entire state the rest of the year.
