April Wine

Where are the fans?

You probably have to be Canadian to love this band. Probably to even know who they are. I got an itunes gift certificate for Christmas and I redeemed it finally the other day.

I bought a few April Wine tunes so far. Some that you don't find on their "Hits" releases like "Lady Run Lady Hide", "All Over Town", and "The Whole World's Goin Crazy"...

I hadn't heard some of those in years.

Now that's a blast from the past...I remember seeing them as an opening act, and not knowing who they were, but I recognized some of their songs (I think they opened up for Pat Travers).

Nice vid.... they can still perform and rock it out without looking like old farts...

I have seen them several times here in Montreal at Le Spectrum. Always a great show.

Nice... I've seen Kim Mitchell a few times at parties and bars. You never know where he's going to show up especially in the south-western Ontario area.

I saw Lawrence Gowan at a New Years party back in 1990 (I think) and he was really good. Mitchell was also playing that bash.
