If you were independently wealthy, what would you do all day?

Be honest, what would you do, what projects or hobbies would you work on etc?

More or less the same thing I am doing now.

I would just fast forward some other projects and plans from the 2-5 year up to 12-18 months.

I would move to San Diego, on the beach somewhere, spend my days working out, surfing/swimming, fucking hot 18 y/o girls, surfing the net, and eating mexican food and drinking. I could do this for 10 years before I got bored.

Same here.

I have a pretty care free life, and am surrounded by young cuties sucking a mean toe. I get to work for me, and live and die on my own sword. I have earned what I have now, and appreciate it. I have fucked many, and enjoy traveling.

There are some more things I want to accomplish, but not working is not an option. I must have that daily feeling of accomplishment. However, some things left on my list are... (not in order)

1. Full service online record label. Streaming radio, production, A&R, distribution.
2. Dance club(s). Not strip clubs.
3. Own a Golf Course.
4. Either live on W. Coast, or split time between MI and Cali.
5. Travel around Europe/Japan/Aussie for a few months (diff trips).

I'm kind of curious to hear some answers from women.

Most guys would bang alot more women, sometimes two at once....

I wonder what women have as a top goal for entertainment if they were suddenly extremely rich?

Why not just do that, then?

Interesting and obscure places aren't that expensive, usually, and writing fiction merely takes time.

i actually live that sort of life, and this is what i spend my time doing:

traveling the world, live in a resort town (Whistler, BC) whenever i'm not traveling, in order to snowboard pretty much every day in the winter, and downhill bike pretty much every day in the summer. hike in the spring and fall (mostly fall). head to the southern hemisphere every n.american summer to snowboard. read lots of books, write, do road trips, a bit of volunteering, bitch on a blog about local politics, and manage investments... all with a great girl by my side to enjoy it all with. you don't need to work all the time in order to get the best out of life. i will never understand these people who always want to work no matter what. over-rated. there are a million other more interesting things to do in this world besides 'work'.

yeah, i get that. my only point is that there are plenty of things that can give you a sense of accomplishment, that don't have anything to do with work in the traditional sense. climbing a mountain can be a huge accomplishment. traveling to a distant jungle or island, and finding your way through some physically demanding, sketchy sitations... the same thing. taking a new, harder, sketchier line down the mountain on a snowboard in a remote area you've never been to before... mega accomplishment.

again, i get where you are coming from though.

That's all great, when you're older I guess. I couldn't imagine living an entire life that way though. I think most people need to feel a sense of purpose and accomplish productive goals. For me, living my whole life on vacation would not provide that and ultimately result in me feeling unhappy.

Same here.

When I am not working on something. I tend to be unhappy. I can't sleep. It is a very weird feeling. I can maybe get by a day, sometimes two, with no work of any kind. After that, it really starts to bug me.

well, managing your money and investments is in and of itself a job of sorts. volunteering is far more purposeful than making money in a business imho. there is so much out there. sitting at a computer 18 hours a day is not the best way to live life. i did it for almost 13 years, i am happy to be done with it for the most part, and moved on to other things.

I agree that progressing in life is important. Often that means moving on from one way of living to another. Sometimes, that means doing the same thing for a lifetime (ex. Buffett, Einstein). Fulfillment is relative and everyone has their own priorities . For me, as long as I feel that I'm always making the best use of my time, I'm happy.
