17th at Pebble Beach
 Pebble Beach saves its best for last. After a downhill plunge on the 16th, players emerge from the trees and back out onto the cliffs overlooking the Pacific. There they are faced with one of the most difficult par 3s in golf. The tee shot is made straight towards the ocean and always into the teeth of an unpredictable wind. To get anywhere near the pin, the ball must carry 200 yards of fairway and avoid the catcher's mitt of sands that grips the green. Tournaments are often won or lost here, and if not on this very hole, then on the next. Should dreams of victory survive the 17th, there is still the 548-yard clifftop 18th waiting to spoil them.

I can't wait for it to warm up. I still need to go renew my yearly membership at the country club place here. Small local dig where I can pay like $300 in fees and golf all I want for the entire year. Still need to grab a cart though.

Yeah I'm having an awful problem with a nasty slice off the tee, plenty of distance but it get's ulgy after 150yds out. I'm thinking it's my stance and I need to hit more of a closed stance, it's throwing off my hips or something. I'll figure it out at the range later

practice makes perfect.
last summer i was shooting 95's or so...best game was a 90. then i went to florida the other day and didnt break 100 once. disappointing |

If you have a tendency to slice, beat off overhanded (thumb toward your person) no more than two hours before tee time.
