CHICAGO (AP) -- As a bartender and trainer at a national restaurant chain, Rebecca Brown earned a couple thousand dollars in a really good week. Now, as a dancer at Chicago's Pink Monkey gentleman's club, she makes almost that much in one good night.

When I was riding in the cab in NY this morning, I said to the driver that I didn't notice a recession in NY because all of the stores and bars were packed every night.....But he said that business is down a MINIMUM of 40%.....

2 grand per night seems unlikely, especially for some newb who just started in the biz... I don't really even see how she could break 1k/night from stripping at a club, unless it's just some once in a blue moon fluke... or she fucks her clients after work...
