![]() Hi,
Recently I opened a Cyprus company for the purpose of using CCBill for my website. Cyprus has a low income tax of 10%, but having started my tax planning I came across a VAT (value added tax) issue. My site has photo and video content, selling monthly subscriptions. Do I have to pay VAT? Please give your feedback on this, especially those of you, owning EU based businesses. Thanks, Josh. |

Yep, you need to pay VAT on all EU sales.

yes
Of course you have to pay VAT on your sales, but also if you have expenses where you paid VAT(like hosting, gas, etc), this VAT will balance the one that you earn from the subscription.
