So Who's Owned A Pontiac? Admit it!!!
Back in the day I had a Pontiac Grand Prix.
It had problems and the interior was crap compared to Japanese or Euro cars but it had a 3800 V8 and when you threw the pedal down there was like a second delay but once it reved up that sucker would fly... RIP Pontiac.

I also had a Pontiac Grand Prix, actually was even a LE with a tinted T-top. Was a decent car. It was destroyed in a head on collision with another Pontiac Grand Prix.

88 Grand Am - decent little car while I was in the Navy. Tiny little Quad Four engine - would smoke camaros and firebirds in short races
90 Grand Prix - best car I've ever owned, as far as reliability goes.. nothing ever broke in over 120,000 miles, except the brake light switch and the water pump. 2000 Bonneville - piece of shit, my last Pontiac. |

My first car was a 71 pontiac sunbird. I was a huge POS but it lasted me about a year until I got out of high school and got a job so I could buy a decent car.

I still own a 88 Grand Am 2.0L turbo which is in mint condition... it's never seen winter driven and I've only seen 1 more around here, the rest are in the junkyard because of the salt, I just had the motor bored out 60 over and I can keep up with 5.0 L Mustangs for the fun of it, it's quite the sleeper and they get quite the shock

I had Fiero a Loooong time ago. Had a shop drop a Buick v6 in it and the thing screamed. I still own it in storage but it needs a ton of work. Would do 0-60 in the low 5's in it's prime and handled pretty good with a few tweaks. It had really bad understeer by design but once you took that out it was totally balanced.

My first car was a 1967 GTO convertible and then I got a 1977 trans am for graduating high school, which my dad promptly took away after my first semester at ASU, so much for that car.

The first brand new car I bought off the showroom floor was a 1996 Grand Am GT. Nice car, never gave me any trouble but I did trade it off after a few years to get something with a little more power.

1981 Turbo Trans Am and (2) 1987 Trans AM GTA's - the first GTA was stolen about 3 weeks after I got it from a TacoBell lot in Coral Gables. Fortunately the car was stolen right after I purchased it so I pretty much got 100% of my money back from the insurance company.
The first one was black, gold trim with the bird on the hood, looked like the Smokey and the Bandit T/A, ..man I was pissed when it was stolen. The second one was a solid metallic red.

Another one of those "I wish I had it back" cars.
