What's the worst domain you've seen lately? I'm asking because I just encountered some fool on Namecheap Marketplace who was trying to sell this gem for two hundred and fifty smackeroons:

You guys missed the point a little bit.
 Camgirls.com is a great domain, and mangotube.com doesn't suck all that much -- it would do for a newbie to start out with, and could even be branded, with some effort, by playing up the breasts-as-mangos metaphor. You're responding to the wild asking prices, not the inherent suckage of the domains. (Playboylive.net I'll give you -- if you ignore the trademark, it's a three-keyword dot.net with no strong keywords, not worth the cost of a registration, if not quite awful enough to be hilarious.) Whereas my example would be a screaming waste of a registration fee -- I could register a thousand better domains in two hours. The fact that somebody wanted $250 for it was just icing on the cake. I'm looking for comedy gold that's inherent in the domain name itself. Anybody? |
