What is it?
iDEAL is an online payment method used in The Netherlands. Introduced in 2005, iDEAL allows customers to make secure purchases using direct online transfers from their bank account.

Can't be charged back? Can they get refunds at all? I see some people pulling some shady shit here if they can't CB.

Due to the procedure involved in the buying process with iDeal, a customer can not claim they didn't make the purchase.

Chargebacks apply to credit cards. This is not a credit card transaction.

This is great news...

Back in 2004 I had perhaps 4 to 8% of my transactions overseas... Now about 30% are... Always nice to have a new way for them to pay securely.
