				 | do discounted rebill rates increase retention? as a customer, i think a $30 - 40 rebill rate is absurd. I just download what i like & cancel, & rejoin in 6 months to get the new stuff. I would stay a member at $20 & under if i really like a site. but thats just me. |

				 | I've never done a reduced-price rebill but BrokeAms rebills at 70% rate without it so I haven't felt the need. So, I can't help you fully but your post was sliding down the page without a response so I thought I'd at least give you whatever experience I do have.

				 | In most cases it doesn't for two reasons: 1. The person like and actively uses a site, so has no problem with the rebill. 2.The don't like the site and don't return and don't check their CC statement and it rebills for months sometimes years.

				 | We knock about 7.00 off on rebill vs initial signup. Rebills are good except for all the "failed rebills" I've been getting lately. |

				 | what Wizzo said - a good % of rebillers are simply people who don't pay much attention to their credit card statement. you're just throwing money away by reducing the rebill fees.

				 | Yes it can increase retention a great deal if done right.

				 | we did the opposite... lower initial price and re-bill at normal pricing. has anyone here done that yet? Have you seen any results? We have about 2 more weeks until we see the returns on the initial lower price offer, but it looks really promising. I think our content speaks volumes about sticking around and staying a while... check out our tour at http://tour.littlemutt.com . You can see everything we have to offer before you join... what do you think? DG
