Unique Drive Bay uses?
I have 3 open 5.25 drive bays. Don't need any more DVD drives, and the case has temp displays. Looking for unique devices or uses for these bays as I hate the plastic bay covers. Prefer black devices to match case.

They make cupholder/ cigarette lighers for drive bays. In one of my computers I have a voltage meter from a car. It looks kind of different being in there.

I use bare hard drives and an external dock to store the content archive back-ups,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-071-_-Product but sometime I need content that's on more than one drive so I installed one of these on my new workstation: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-062-_-Product Use it for storage and change it when it's full, put a second OS on it, whatever ![]() |

These are pretty cool to look at. Perhaps a bit useless, unless you are using a home theater PC setup that is in plain view. ![]() |

I thought about the hot-swap drive. Still considering it. Ancient as it is, I am still using a Zip 750 drive for quick back-ups and program storage.
Anyone need a copy of AOLPress? lol |

How about making all your HDs swappable?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-015-_-Product These units have individual activity lights for each drive, so if you have 2 or 3 it's pretty to look at. ![]() |
