:2cents Videosecrets.com is the shit :)

Wow ... Got in touch with video secrets and remember I did business with them in the past. They pulled up one of my two accounts and reset the information. I took a look at my past stats, I remember they were a drop in the bucket to me back then but some pretty good numbers.

2006 109.96
2002 300.88
2001 3,891.31
2000 4,914.04
1999 18,214.92
1998 11,924.64
Total Commissions $39,370.73

and they are still running strong. Companies like this that have been around forever and continue to produce are the type of companies you should be using. They understand the business, have adapated, and continue to do so. If you aren't using them you should give them a shot (no ref link posted) just go to videosecrets.com

I see you weren't around when there was a drama about them trying to rob a guy for his earned cash.
Lots of webmasters dropped their program (or at least said they did).
Thread got deleted though like other times scumbags and thiefs are saved by the board owner's mercy or greed.

A lame excuse was posted by VS and tons of weak pussy webmasters here jumped back on their cock, expressing how top notch guys these guys suddenly were. Even the guy who had lost his money hadn't it been for all the support he got in the first place, started to suddenly praise their program. Blackmail or pure weakness?

Fuck him, fuck VS and fuck the webmasters who crawled back to support them.

MONEY FOR NOTHING!

Those were the days, huh ?

As far as the problem with VS Media ... Sounds like they were fixed, that's all that matters right. Who knows what the whole story was really ? Could of been any number of things the general public wasn't privy too ...

Programs like this and maxcash.com are just a couple that have weathered the problems of this industry. I don't think even Cybererotica has made it ?

Yes, have recently heard good things about VS - including from models who are probably some of the best to tell at what level a program is operating on

Cam traffic is still golden (actual probably more than ever compared to the rest of the industry)

Yes the guy got his money in the end. Thanks to over 20 pages of posts with upset webmasters and people pulling their links.
But you are right.. money talks and bullshit walks. Let some time pass and everything is back to normal. This is why this industry is so rotten. Too many weak links to stand united against the bad guys for more than a few days.

It's sad that it's so cheap to be a scumbag these days. A lame excuse and some time, and you can go on like nothing happened.

VideoSecrets is one of the sponsors i trust the most. That thread was clearly not in their favor, but from my experience working with them, i can say they generally follow an honest business model.

If you have quality and targeted webcam traffic, give VideoSecrets a try.

if you don't mind me asking...are these stats from a white label you are using?

I use white labels and had more charge backs then sales...and sent much more uniques, thanks

Video Secrets is the very best, I have NEVER been cheated by them in anyway shape or form!

But even more important let us not forget the HUGE role they played in defeating Acacia!

This is a quote taken from XBIZ written Feb 3, 2010

"The Acacia case is also famous in the industry, however, as a shining example of multi-company cooperation in which a large group of defendants, organized and financed in large part through the extraordinary efforts of VS Media (owner of Flirt4Free) defeated a well financed company specializing in the business of bringing patent infringement actions."

They have my business and always will!

what if they follow AWE`s tactics and change the TOS a little after a few years?
It is not impossible as the market shows us.
As soon a cam portal shows off to become bigger, they will start downsizing affiliates

Would love to see VS her point of view on this

In the past 14 years, with THOUSANDS of webmasters, we had ONE issue like this.
We fucked up, we paid the guy, we changed our T&C's to reflect lifetime rev share.
What more is there to say?

Just curious, as I didn't read the T & C - If you don't get life time credit for sales generated ... how long do you get paid for referred clients ?

Are there any established web cam programs out there that still do pay on life time referrals ?

Not dissing VS - and still plan on using them, but always open to testing multiple programs even with the limited traffic I have atm.
That's AT THE MOMENT btw not ASS TO MOUTH

Yeah, its just too bad they don't care when people repping them to bring in models hand out personal information. I wouldn't promote them because of their lack of concern for model safety and privacy.

Yes you fucked up.. BIG time. You could have admitted on the first few pages that what you did was wrong and pay the guy. Instead you let the thread go for almost 20 pages with 100's of upset webmasters. Still you would not admit that you were in fact stealing, and kept your whole "money for nothing" arrogant attitude.
Thread got deleted (how convenient) but drama wouldn't go away. Your excuse/apology came way too late to be taken seriously.

Yes you paid the guy.. because you were FORCED to pay him. Not because you regret what you did, but because it was in your best interest before loosing more affiliates and money.

Greedy_Brad summed it up quite nicely:

What more is there to say? Not much. You lost all your credibility back then as an honest sponsor. My final words here.

Still got no answer on my question
that is cause the answer is against all odds and makes this thread worthless
VS.. If you need post whores to make us all forget how you fucked an affiliate, i suggest you do it yourself. Or you dont want to make your hands dirty?

A lot more

Why dont you and AWE exchange some " How to twist the facts " experiences?

Whats the point of dragging VS into the AWE issue?

By the looks of it, then VS is not doing anything today, which is harming their affiliates (contrary, their affiliates seam very happy with VS)...

of course we can always speculate what will happen in the future, but getting pissy at companies for some speculative senario, doesn´t really seam fair - every company in the world could turn bad in the future.

Judge companies on what they do, not what they might do

If you're calling me a post whore ... You're wrong.

I have been out of this business for so many years I can't count. I made more money then most of you ever will when I was in it though. This was but a fraction of my income. Naturally, when I came back, I went to sponsors I had used before .. and gave them props for a simple one page link in my members area for about a year generating all these numbers.

That being said - I still don't understand. An affiliate generated a sale where the user spent mad money ? Then they didn't pay them because the inordinate amount of spending ? That makes little sense to me as that is what the purpose of lifetime revshare is - and they still seem to offer it. Can someone elaborate without pictures in a simple text statement exactly what the disagreement was ?
