USA did great. Nobody gave them much credit before the games started.

USA had a great tournament too. Their team might have looked odd to some with new faces but I think Burke knows what he is doing. They will only get stronger. Hope the next Olympics has NHL players.

I agree. At the start of the tournament the US was not even supposed to be in contention for a medal. To take the mighty Canadian juggernaut to overtime and lose to one of the two best players int he world (the other being Ovechkin) is not something to be ashamed of.

Congrats to Canada. They showed heart when they lost to the US early on and had to take the hard road to the medal.

It was very cool during the medal ceremony when the crowd saluted Ryan Miller. Our US boys in blue should wear their silver with pride.

Agreed on the Ryan Miller comment- that was awesome to see the crowd give him props. he was the nest goalie in the tournament by far. The US played fantastic and most of those guys will be there is Russia in 2014.

Incredible game and incredible feeling afterwards....that gold made it a winter Olympic record for the most gold medals by a country with 14....very proud to be Canadian right now.

Silver is definitely something to be proud of. Canadians may have a lot of heart, but we also have a lot of class.

"The Firewall" Ryan Miller was absolutely awesome... could see some of those USA guys really wearing their heart on the sleeves when they were taking their Silver medals. Unfortunately there can only be one winner.. but both teams played outstanding. Couldn't of asked for a better final.
