and these are my new little 1wk old chickies

Haha, been years since I had dwarf goats. The kids are hilarious when they're playing out in the spring grass bucking around and running, blatting their heads off. Always liked wrestling with the billy goats when I was kid too. Used to grab them by the horns and have tug of wars with them. Funny little animals...

I keep the kids in the house at night cause they're bottle fed and have been separated from the dam. The 6wk old one I just got home with a few hours ago, he's eating grain and hay, but still needs bottle feeding for 2 more weeks.. It's super funny watching them gallop around the kitchen floor, lol

I'm hoping to find a Nubian soon. Could of gotten a Toggenburg Nubian cross, but I want a a pure blood line with known parentage so I can register

Get yourself some Jacob Goats (I think they're technically actually sheep), they were always my favorites when I was kid on the farm.

Just about any oddball exotic pet you can name we wound up having one on the farm for a while when I was kid. Different goats, sheeps, ponies, pigs, llamas, whatever. All sorts of different ornamental birds. Ducks, geese, wild turkeys, pheasants, guinea hens, peacocks, dozens of varieties of bantam hens. You name it, we had them running around at some point. Some day when i get around to building a place of my own, it will be tucked away somewhere out of town where I can have my own little hobby farm sort of thing. Couple cows, some goats and chickens, and a vegetable garden. Nice to have around...

Cool! I'd love to have some goats. What kind of duckie is that? I have mallards and muscovey ducks that live on the lake behind my house and I love to feed them corn. The muscovey ducks are very tame and will eat out of my hand. Plus we have morehens which are cool little birds. Kind of like a chicken, with the big feet and they cluck and bark like a chicken.

If I ever won the lottery, I'd buy a place in the country and start a no-kill shelter for all kinds of animals. That is, after I spend a year or so consuming hookers and blow.
