I haven't seen that one, but Escape from New York is a classic, love that movie.
Been a John Carpenter fan forever.

Snake Plissken is a awesome character. Both movies were great (escape from new york & escape from LA). John Carpenter+Kurt Russell=fantastic combination!

No doubt Carpenter and Russell should do another film together, The Thing is one of my all time favs, and i really like the Escape movies as well. Some great Hollywood satire in the Los Angeles one although the Che Guevara type character was a bit cheezy;)
