If you rely on others to motivate you, then you will always have a hard time.

As to your O.P., my single largest single payment(s) have come when selling off a website.

fiddy cents. With the bank's check cashing fee, walking into the bank fee, teller fee, janitor's fee, and breathing their air fee it was -$11.50

back when the paris hilton sex tape came out years ago I had a little reality porn site that only saw maybe 200-500 unique visitors a day all search engine/bookmarked traffic no bought traffic and I was working a full time gig at the time, used to come home and check stats on that little site and it would sell 5-15 tapes a day and the payout was $20 my way, don't remember what the checks were for but nice to make $100-$300 a day on a site that only saw a few hundred uniques a day, lasted for quite a few weeks, power of search engine traffic.

Back in the days of magazines would often get checks for 6,000 GBP ($9,000). Not hard when selling to a publisher with 8-12 magazines.

As for the Internet sold the complete Content stores a few times $25,000. Took a long time to copy it to hard drives.

I wasn't in during the golden days but ARS cut me a $5,500 check about a year ago. Before I got into adult I ventured into the gambling industry before the US government fucked that up. My largest there was a 42k check for a 30 day period from 888.com.

How is the gambling industry these days? Still getting payments from old stuff or do you still actively push it? I can't remember if I ever pushed ufilliates or not.

Is it due to all of the new IRS agents and them focusing on small business owners that auditing it rising? That scares me to be honest. I don't have solid records dating back for the years that I have not filed.

My audit was triggered by some blatant mistakes 2 of my other accountants made.

But I highly recommend you get your records in order. I never thought I'd be audited in a million years.... only reason I even know about it in advance is because accountant #3 and I went into the IRS database to check on a statute of limitations date on something.

1999 in a contest - $50,000 from Playgal (Australia) (Residual plug)

Serge (he still gets residual plugs too ) and an anon sponsor (long out of the game, but he wanted no publicity) also sent me $1000. I must always say that too. Serges arrived the next morning by fedex. The one from Dean took a fair amount longer but it did arrive. Funnest day I ever had walking into a bank.

ND and Top Bucks (teensforcash heyday) have sent me a few over a thousand. Ravo (fpctraffic) once sent me one for about $800. Back when popping an exit was the shiznit.

Sold a domain for a $1000 to a member of this board.

2004 - He writes me.
"Do you want to sell parishilton*.com
I say no.
He says $1000.
I say yes.

5 mins later in my paypal. Made that month.

Today I cant give parishiltonpictures.com away for $40

To give props to my current top earning sponsors, the following cut me 4 figure checks every two weeks:

Teen Revenue
Nasty Dollars
Huge Traffic

It has been a lot of years since I have received any 5 figure checks though.

Back when I used to "flip" web sites, I sold a few for 8-9k USD.

A check from solely affiliate marketing... I think $3500. Was a couple of years ago, though.

I'd say a steady stream of $3,000 a pay period from Nasty Dollars (weekly). Lasted for about 6 months while I had #1 in MSN, Yahoo and Google for a few of their sites and variations of miss spellings.

When I first started out, like a decade ago, no I did not pay any taxes for 2 years. I did not even file. I did go back and pay all my back taxes though including penalties, interest, etc. Had to pay the IRS enough fucking money to buy everyone in my immediate family a BMW X5, but fuck it. Live and learn.

The weekly payouts from ccbill used to be big. But now many of those older and established programs are spread out with their own payout systems.

I will give a hint since everyone is giving good shit out here.

My best money making recurring sponsor (and maybe sponsor) of all time was probably Pornmegabucks. (still in operation, maybe I should try them, if I could use the old custom made tour Bill made for me)

Erotic Punishment recurred forever. My last recur went almost 8 years. No lie. With CCBill one guy went almost 8 years. But many would go 2 years or so.

Even tho I lost 39 recurs (40 recurring members to 1 in Oct, 2002) with either IBill or Epoch. (back then PMB payed through both AND Bill (the owner) sent you a check for all the other billing as well every so often. (unheard of then or now)

Anyhow, for sure IBill eventually shafted me but seems to me something happened with Epoch that month too "Black October, 2002".

Never really recovered. But recurs went on forever.

Come back to the game buddy. We need guys who know how to get surfers to crack the wallet.. today more than ever.

Edit: The fellow who runs it today is a top guy and they used to have one of the best cascading billing sytems where the affil could choose their billers in the order they wanted them listed. They still do that. Again unheard of. This is why this guy sold. Yes his tours are dated but the billing is tops and who knows..last I looked you could chooise from every biller out there thru the options. Pretty cool.

Well I can log in with stats going back to 2006 so that's a good sign.

Basicly it is a prog flying on auto pilot.. no promo materials.. only link codes. And the cascading billing option is gone. Replaced by a new affil system and new codes.

Cool thing.. he now uses his own biller it appears. Anyone heard of https://makefuckingmoney.com/

cause thats where his sites all go to now. Guy was a genius in billing so who knows. Tours look pretty funky tho. But if everyone could join who wanted to join..

The actual largest check I ever got was a mistake. I was supposed to get a check from this sponsor for around $500 and when the check came it was for $22,000. Clearly there was a mistake. I thought about it for a day then contacted them and told them about it. I had considered just depositing in my savings account then if they contacted me and wanted it back I could give it back to them, but I would have felt too guilty.

Turns out there had major accounting fuck up and a lot of people got the wrong amounts sent to them. They told me I was the only one that had gotten more than I should that had contacted them. On the good side they did send be a 2K bonus as a thank you.

Aside from that it was probably in the $2,500ish range.
