Do you remember when ARS had success with their BYOT program?

I do remember it, eventhough I did not participate in it.

For those that don't know, BYOT is an acronym for Build Your Own Tour.
The concept in the program was that affiliates and designers could create custom tours and get them included in the official program.
Then the creator of the tour would earn $5 each time a customer bought a membership through any of his tours.

Since ARS had that program and closed it, we are now operating a paysite host - www.lifestyleamateurs.com

If we created a BYOT program - would you then use it and create tours, and get other affiliates to promote them?

As far as I'm aware, the ARS BYOT program is still open.

It might be dead compared to what it was, but from what I can see...I can still build sites and add sites.

That being said, I have done quite well with anything I've submitted to the various programs that had BYOT.

BYOT programs are awesome when the program has inhouse traffic or webmasters that send a lot of traffic, I've participated in most byot programs but not all were as successfull as ARS and Cashmaniacs back in the day. I guess I'd make some tours again if one of the big guys would offer it..
Adult.com even offered byot if I remember well, but the approach&rules to building tours was just too much hassle to begin with.

I just checked and my ARS tours still get a nice amount of traffic.

Conversions, like everywhere else are completely in the crapper.

Does Pimproll still have theirs?

It's only worth it if the person knows how to capture the audience, and usually the default tour already does that

pornaccess still has them too i have a creampie one, it did well for a bit impossible getting affiliates these days even tho it converts 1/200 and pay 30pps. i need to redo mine its from 2006 so looks old now based on 800/600 rule. http://creampiewhores.net i still update it like a paysite tho pretty often has 130+ updates.
