Affiliate programs - Cookie durations
Hey Guys,
What are your experiences with companies and cookie durations? What is the biggest cookie duration have you ever seen? Thank you for your posts in advance!

I always recommend the programs I work with to change it to 60 days.
I've seen MPA3's default setting at 2 days..

Mine is set at 90 days because thats what most of the programs I saw had for their cookies.

you set it too long, and you end up getting cookie stuffers that just load your site in the background.

I prefer 30 days or more. 3 days used to be typical and simply isn't enough. Even with long cookie durations less people have cookies set and retained (privacy settings and utilities) with each coming year so in actuality an affiliate often loses more revenue over time no matter what unless other adjustments are made.
