So now I would say...tell me like I'm in first grade, how anybody is doing that when nobody has traffic left anymore unless your name is "pornhub"?

I just can't see how they are doing it in a way that is honest and consists of actual people intending to join a site. And I'm pretty clever and quick with making money.

So if somebody could just give me a clue...just a small clue, instead of the mysterious: "Oh they are out there...muahahahahaha" as to how they can do all these sales when they don't have that kind of traffic....I'd like to know.

I don't think people realize how many joins are generated via mail still... Some guys in this thread assume the whales run TGPs.

Why aren't they flying in to shows in private jets anymore and throwing big sponsored parties? Heck the shows are a cemetery these days, and right here on GFY there are threads everyday with another program shutting down, another guy looking for work who has been let go from a company he worked for for 10 years, and another studio cutting back on production.

Just don't add up.

Not to one program though (allthough we can with a nice push) but to tons of programs. However 10% of all programs we push make up for 90% of our revenue ofcourse.

Our top sponsors receive on average I would say about 15-20 joins a day.

We have tons of programs we only do between 1 and 5 a day and more programs we do a sale every few days.

Not bragging here but if we did "only" 100 sales a day we would not be moving to a new office because our current office doesn't fit the 15 people we have inhouse.

BUT, we to feel the recession and the whole "free" stage we are in (yes we are down some % too). We just don't want to give up and complain all day thinking about the golden years

there are FAR more than most people on this board think. I think the biggest change is that a much larger % of them are mailers and large chat houses then was the case in the past when there were more "site driven" whales.
