This is beyond messed up...

This is an official statement regarding the situation with Protraffic.com, which has affected a lot of webmasters and raised many questions about the system itself. The payouts in the system were upheld at a certain moment. The situation was in suspension for some time until the actual owner of Protraffic.com has given his explanation of the problem that was caused by fraudulent actions of a certain person. The present statement gives a deeper explanation of the matter:



?The problems at Protraffic.com are the result of fraudulent actions performed by Andrey Voronin Vladimirovich (as seen on the photo), who was the project's senior developer during the last couple of years. His fraudulent practices have made it possible for him to withdraw $478,000.00 from the system through numerous fake accounts, he managed to insert fake statistics and fooled our bookkeeping autosystem. This is the money that the users had to receive as their direct income from Protraffic. Stealing the money was not the only problem but just a part of it. The mentioned person has deleted all sources of the core segment of the system, erased a part of the data, damaged most of the functions in Protraffic and also was trying to fool both the owner and the security team promising to fix everything by himself until his illegal actions were confirmed by investigation. He also made it impossible for a new team to lead the project, they were heading in wrong directing misleaded by him. Moreover, by jamming and sabotaging the work of Protraffic.com he started his own project named Bosstraffic that uses the same concept and architecture as Protraffic, being its direct replica.



Upon discovering these details it was nearly impossible to get in touch with Andrey Voronin. When direct personal contact was finally achieved he promised to collaborate with the newly hired coders and grant the access to the core of the system. But his words were never embodied in action and soon he fled with his entire family making it impossible to contact with him or any of his family members. At the moment there's an open criminal case regarding his activity and he's in investigation.



During my 7+ year experience of working with traffic I have never imagined that such situations could happen, I never ever was about to scam anybody or steal anybody?s money, haven?t been even thinking about it. Protraffic is the result of my hard work and making a system with nearly $8 million turnover required quite a lot of effort. So it was a real blow to the head when I finally realized all the details. I've ceased any payouts until further notice simply because the system is not functioning at the moment and there's no traffic statistics to make any payouts possible. We've tried disassembling and debugging the core but the code is so obfuscated that it's impossible do anything with it at the moment. This leads us to the measures that I?ve decided to undertake.



As much as it was undesirable to rewrite the entire core of Protraffic.com there is no other way of restoring the system back to its functional state right now. The process will take at least three months after which the site will be back online working as usual. The upheld funds will be automatically opened and withdraw options will be enabled. We strongly encourage you to leave the data as it is in order to help the investigation and at the same time help restore the traffic to its previous levels, once we get it re-launched which will make it possible to refund all the lost income to affected users more rapidly. After the system will become functional we have few offer of financing so paying back might take less time then we think. Right now there's a team of professional software developers working on the new core and we have drawn our conclusions from the whole situation in order to avoid any similar problems in the future. Protraffic will be back online as soon as possible and we will make everything we can to restore its good name among webmasters that have put their trust into us?
