tracking domains an image is hotlinked on?

is there a way to track all domains a specific image on your server is hotlinked from?

If your talking about 1 specific image, just rename it for an hour or so and then check your apache error log

I'm thinking more in terms of tracking a hidden image. To tell what domains things are being used on.
