Backups @ Webair. How much do you pay

So I was messing with something that was creating huge index files on my Webair dedicated server

when I thought, "man this is gonna cost me a lot to back up". I mean I already pay $12 to back up ~17 gigs of data.

I decided to see how much it costs per GIG. Of course, that info is hard to find, but after I dug around the control panel on webairs site I found this:

WEBAIR BACKUP POLICY:
$5 per mo. - 50 GIG
$.50 per GIG per month thereafter

Im like yo wtf ? I think right away that they forgot to add a 0 and have me for $5 per 5 gigs. I email support and they say they fixed it, from this point forward. They say it was only recently changed.

I'm calling bullshit because its hard to believe that they actually updated that old ass control panel to reflect a small recent change like that

(tl;dr) So im asking here, how much do you pay, what is your rate for backups at webair?

I'm at: $5 per month for first 50GB included and 50 cents per gig thereafter.

But I only got this price from August this year on, I was paying way more before.

A lot of hosts do that. Not all, but many. If you're satisfied paying the higher rate why would they want to change your billing to pay less? You have to check every six months or year and make sure you're getting the best deal. I'm sure there are people out there still on Pentium II servers paying $500 for 30GB transfer per month.
