Paxum Introduces Major Changes To eWallet Payment Platform

Montreal, Canada - Paxum Inc is making some striking changes to their user-friendly global ewallet payment platform. The introduction of EUR IBAN accounts and 3rd party incoming and outgoing payments means greater payment flexibility for clients of the multifaceted payment platform.

?In our continuing efforts to provide the most versatile and practical ewallet payment service we are thrilled to implement EUR IBAN and third party options for our clients.? said Paxum's CEO Octav Moise. ?We pride ourselves on the ease of use of our platform and with these changes things just got even easier!?

EUR IBAN accounts are enabled by default for existing and new clients with a Paxum EUR currency account. Every Paxum account-holder with EUR IBAN will be given an individual IBAN in their name. Paxum clients can use their EUR IBAN account to receive EUR currency payments to their Paxum account from external sources and themselves.

In addition, Paxum clients can apply for permission to receive 3rd party USD payments; and to send 3rd party USD and EUR payments, however 3rd party payments are not yet available to USA based clients. Fees associated with the new third party operations are percentage based with listed minimums; loading funds and transferring funds by WIRE or ACH/SEPA will be 0.5% for EUR transactions and 1% for USD and other currency transactions. Interested clients are advised to contact their Paxum account rep, or to open a support ticket for more information.

?Freelancers and affiliates should jump on this!? said Paxum's Head of Marketing Ruth Blair. ?It's a great way to consolidate EUR payments into one location where you can easily access all your earnings!?

Another exciting aspect to Paxum's latest implementation is a noteworthy reduction in fees for Paxum EUR currency account-holders. Loading EUR funds by Wire transfer now has a $10 USD fee, reduced from $50 USD. Clients can also add EUR funds by SEPA, with a fee of $5 USD. Withdrawing EUR funds by WIRE is now $40 USD, reduced from $50 USD, and to Withdraw funds by SEPA is now $5 USD instead of the previous EFT withdrawal option at $8.95 USD.

Paxum Global eWallet is the leading alternative payment service for the online adult entertainment industry. The award-winning payment company offers a cost-effective secure ewallet payment service that allows users to easily send and receive money instantly all over the world with just an email address. You can learn more by visiting their site at Paxum E-Wallet, or by contacting one of their friendly reps.

Excuse my dumbness, but what does an 'EUR IBAN account' allow me to do?

An EUR IBAN is essentially an EUR currency bank account. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intern...Account_Number

With an EUR IBAN included in your Paxum account you can now receive payments to your EUR IBAN, and those payments will credit to your Paxum account.

For example, if you're working with an EU based company that will only issue payments via SEPA, then you will need an EUR IBAN in order to receive those payments.

With this new Paxum integration you can now accept payments to your EUR IBAN from external companies (no Paxum account is required for the sender) and the funds will be automatically deposited to your Paxum EUR account balance. From there you can then withdraw from the system by EFT or Wire to your bank account, make purchases from other Paxum account-holders, or convert the funds from EUR to USD and transfer those funds to your Paxum Payroll card (if you have one) for immediate use.

Having an EUR IBAN to use inside your Paxum account can consolidate your EUR payments into one user-friendly location to help reduce the burden of payment management as well as reducing fees (since you can withdraw all funds at once rather than paying fees for each individual payment).

@RuthB,

You added European IBAN accounts, does that mean you will now have to report all the accounts to Governments?

If yes, I am not sure if this is a good step for Paxum users, as these people are mostly freelancers.

What do you say?

Yeah i am not sure is that even legal lol. Plus it's total unnecessary , if you are EU citizen, you already have EU IBAN account, so this have sense only if you are non EU citizen. In shortly, there should be option to opt out.

Exactly - I'm fairly certain I don't remember signing any papers to open an IBAN account. Any comments on this, paxum?

Good question.

Were these Euro IBAN accounts opened in people's names without their knowledge?

Ok so for those who might be interested here's my Q&A with Paxum.

ME:
My questioon is:

As a freelancer i would be tempted to migrate my payments into this new EUR IBAN account but you will now have to report all the accounts to Governments?
I am working with Verotel and i receive payments through Direct Deposit International

PAxum:
This feature has nothing to do with reporting or not transactions, to the entities that have jurisdiction over payment systems.

ME:
Ok ,
So if i decide to go on and use your services ( the Eur IBAN account) for my
income, do you have and provide any legal agreement from wich i can clearly
see that Paxum will not disclose my EUR IBAN activity to the entities that have jurisdiction over payment systems in my country ?

PAXUM:
You misunderstood our answer. We will fully comply with the requirements and requests that come through the proper channels, from entities that have the required jurisdiction.

This means that if the authorities from your country make a request, through the proper channels and we are required to provide information, we will comply with those requirements.

We do not harvest illegal activities, nor do we assist anyone who conducts in such practices.

Also, make sure that you respect the laws in your country and the international ones as well.

-------------------------------------

So let me understand better:
Basically most of freelancers/webmasters/models are using Paxum exactly for the reasons ( that we all know ) And we want to know if we can still feel "protected" somehow with this EUR IBAN thing
It's not about doing something illegal, it's about any other reasons that people were happy to use Paxum.

Conclusion:
Still undecided!

p.s.

that " Also, make sure that you respect the laws in your country and the international ones as well." sounded kinda funny and somehow familiar ( like my mother was lecturing me about how i should act on a daily basis otherwize i will be punished )
