So their business is not well if they had to introduce 0.25 fee?

In my experience, PayPal always charges a big fee. It's just that the type of transaction decides which side the fee appears on - on the sender side or receiver side.

Money sent with the "friends and family" option:
- Sender side pays big fee
- Receiver side: free

Money sent with the"payment for goods or services" option:
- Sender side: free
- Receiver side pays big fee

(This is all for regular intra-PayPal transfers, not credit cards payments.)

If I send you 50c once every six months, and you send it back the next day.
Neither of us would need to pay the monthly $5.

I only get 1 payment from an old site through paxum, so about once a year.

So it's basically a tax on apathy.

Or at least a way to ensure that every customer will generate fee revenue at some point in the year.

Sending $0.26 to someone and you pay the $0.25 fee for transfer. And the other person sends $0.01 back and pays the $0.25 fee. That should do it!

ok so we sent our first payment today to pay an affiliate for their sales with Paxum. Sent it as invoice and it looks like the payment sent right away and we received an email saying the funds were sent to the affiliate.

There was a $1 fee for this transaction which is the same as it was in the past.

So the next step will be Paxum sends us an invoice to pay them back for this invoice. Ruth told me ACH payment will now be available which would be great as it is so easy to send them funds in this matter.

So far so go. These changes should not really change much. But I do not know what they are charging to receive funds and if that changed.

Sincerely,
Brandon

Thanks for the info BTW, you paid just one affiliate? Hope it will be that smooth for programs that pay hundreds of affiliates at once.

Yes we paid one affiliate as a test since this is brand new with Paxum. No sense sending out many payments in case there is an issue. And if it goes smooth we will pay the rest.

If the fees are an issue for you, you need to realize that the real issue here is your lack of businesses acumen.

Paxum saves us hundreds per month by not having to deal with checks and wires.
