Paxum Withdraw Funds to External Credit Card Issue

I have been using Paxum's withdraw funds to external credit card option for many months.

I am in Australia and use a major Australian Bank's card ( National Australia Bank )

This morning I received a message advising that the card is no longer supported and funds withdrawal was rejected.

Are any other Australian Paxum users having issues with their Australian cards ( National Australia Bank or other ? )

Yes - unfortunately when you transfer money and it is rejected / returned to your account, the amount you ( tried ) to transfer still adds to you daily withdrawal limit, even though transfer didn't go ahead. You need to wait 24 hours after to try again.

I have emailed Ruth and assume you have done the same.

Exactly same issue you guys described but in EU Banca Intesa Italia. Bank said they cannot decline this type of transactions if Paxum has already had initiated it on their side.

Since problems in April with Paxum card I have already used withdrawal on external card like 5-6 times. It worked but I have had similar issue in July like now in October. So it worked then problem in July then worked again then again problem now. We are talking about same external card same bank, same conditions.

And of course same bullshit answers in Paxum tickets, don't use VPN try again, ask your bank, blah, blah, blah. I asked bank already they are serious company they said that only Visa can decline transaction once Paxum initiates it as Visa is in between. But if Visa declines transaction that must be serious reason behind it.

I paid for card renewal in March ($45) this year and have never had a chance to use it as we all know what happened in April. After printing new temporary card for so long (month+) they stated my new temporary card shipped on May 10th. It is now October, still not received it. So this is ticket answered from Paxum 12732635432843 (like they are zillion workers there)

Really? It all was their mistake not mine. Not going to paid them a dime, I already gave up of card. Will try wire as last resort. But not sure for how long it will all last, because Paxum getting more and more shady lately.

From bank explanation all withdrawal to external card are just refund transactions from POS so it is a bit suspicious that you as POS (Paxum in this case or Paydek) have high number of refunds and I'm getting a feeling that they trigger some limits at Visa/Mastercard so this is situation we have now.

But after all if they said the truth to us we will be patient. Now I think they are simply lying us. Would like to be wrong about that.

Bullshit. Stop spreading false info like a general statement. I made a withdrawal to external card on October 18 (also previous days as well) and it worked just fine.

Also, I do have to admit, I am one of the lucky ones that received the Temporary Mastercard which works as well. Last time I cashed was yesterday and had no issues.

Since you tried on October 18, and the abililty to withdraw to external card was ceased soon after, you may wish to try again from here on in. You will find that your card is 'no longer supported' being that this type of withdrawal is no longer permitted.

I don't expect a reply, as I will out you now as a liar, defending a company that doesn't even have the decency to make an official statement as to what has occured at their end.

I told you I am not denying others may have issues, but I don't think it's general. Since it works for me, I am sure it works for others as well.

I also have a friend who still waits for the Paxum card to arrive since June.

All good, I think it works selectively, for some users yes for some not.

One of GFYers said that he had an issue in July then worked well until now.

So no logical explanation here

Yes, well he has issues with external withdrawal, I don't deny it.

But he makes a general statement like he knows everything that is happening.

I was just showing him proof that it is not a general issue yet. Meanwhile, I prefer to cash fast the money in Paxum, obviously I don't want to risk having my money stuck in their system.

As long as it works, I will cash it. General rule: don't keep money in such a system if you cannot afford to lose it.

In your Paxum console, go to Withdraw Funds and then check Withdraw Funds History to check the status of the withdrawal. You won't get an email if transfer has been rejected, rather its status will appear in here only.
