Judge in Wisconsin blocks GOP lame duck bill trying to strip power from new governor.
I'm not sure if you remember, but after the election, when a Democrat was elected Governor of Wisconsin, the lame duck State Senate quickly passed a bill signed by the lame duck Governor before he left office stripping a bunch of powers away from the Governor. A judge has blocked that law.
Hopefully it will be struck down completely. Assholes that do this kind of thing should be thrown out of office. Judge blocks laws limiting powers of Wisconsin governor - StarTribune.com |
