Bitcoin headed back to $20,000

Anyone buy in at the dip? This train's chugging along. The 'wet'/uneasy/pump and dump money's been SCARED OFF. Now, it's back to fundamentals!

Are you riding this bad boy up?

@ 10.000 everyone who got in on the hype will cash out again, and it will crash.

If you buy now, make sure you start selling around 9500 again.

Thank me later...

If you want to make real money, buy this stock:
https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/NEL:NO

They are winning most of the contracts for building hydrogen refuiling systems (just won hydrogen-powered buses for all of London)

within a year you will make your money back 20-30 times

OR you can buy NAGA coin like Gary did.... did he make milions yet?

Those NAGA-types that need referrals or marketing teams to convince people they are brighter, lighter, faster, better, etc are all shit, in long term everything is being built on Bitcoin
.... too many great things happening.

Bitcoin may have a tough time breaking through $10k, but it will eventually create a new ATH.

I was going to say that historically Bitcoin has always recovered to a price greater than the previous "crash", but this video does it so much better.

So you think every pump is "fake pump"?

I know recently tons of margin shorts liquidated, TA works worst for something like Bitcoin imo.

Applying traditional strategies to something like this is gambling, playing with fire, etc. (when margin trading)

When long term holding, call it what you want "fake pump or dump", either way it has proven itself 10000% over!

I have a theory which I have talked about here before that bitcoin works on the 5x rule.
Each fall results in a 5 fold increase.
So, the previous low was what? $3500

So the next high will be around $17500

I doubt it will be this year though. However, I doubt we will ever see 3.5k again.

Of course, it will then hit 17-20k and drop again. Presumably the lowest low will be higher (say 10k) which will push it to a 50k high before dropping again.

Interesting hypothesis.

I wonder if anyone has tried build a model, with real data?

Abra is working on something. I heard they're also working on tokenizing stocks (able to buy fractions), maybe years until that can happen.

"Abra allows you to securely buy, store, and invest in 30 cryptocurrencies, 50 fiat currencies, and very soon global stocks and ETFs — all from one app. Fund your account using bank transfer/wire, credit/debit card, or support cryptocurrencies to start investing."

https://www.abra.com

These are (very) early times

No this time I put in an order after closing hours, first thing tomorrow when the stock exchange open in Norway my order is sent and checks my price setting. If stocks are available order goes through, if for instance my price request is too low I could be without and order is cancelled.

Between order and execution the time can vary but this explains it quite well:

https://www.investopedia.com/ask/ans...-it-placed.asp

At best you get almost instant trades.

You should have a handful of fair stock brokers in the U.K.?

Thanks for the suggestion, buying stocks and ETF's with crypto sounds like a dream come true. This might be one of the first sites even though only in planning stage.

You're welcome.

Yeah they seem like the first of this type who's trying to do this. Should take time, they'll probably have to fight through a sea of regulation first.

They do have some things operable, like buy/sell crypto and multicoin wallets

I do not use TA...maybe some moving averages and fibonaccis just to try and gauge where the bots will trigger but this is of minor importance...I do follow longs and shorts to measure the amount of temptation the exchanges have to wipe them out...but my strategy is mostly layered buy orders that trigger above and below the current price because I have no idea where the price is going in the short term....anything between 7900 and 8100 is the "dumb zone" where I do not care what happens...anything outside this will trigger my buy orders...

I agree with the "dumb zone" , for me i'd just consider it a "not worthwhile zone" hehe

I still believe trading on short term, even using margin is tiny gaining compared to accumulating for the long long. Could be wrong. We've diff strategies, lets hope we both can make ours work out

Some people may not be aware that you don't have to buy an "entire" Bitcoin. It's not like a stock.

You can buy 1/100th or even 1/1000th of a Bitcoin if you want.

the people who "need to win today, to pay rent tomorrow" are the losers

the people who sit back, time to spare , wait til their price hits no matter what, patience, are the winners

simple as that

losers who rage about loss, are reckless

Dunno about Paxum sorry Nikki, but I have seen you freak out before about crypto lol

Just remember this, ALWAYS:

"The stock market (and any desirable market /jscott edit ) is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient." - Warren Buffett

Warren B. is dumb af with everything related to tech, but he nailed it with comment, generally speaking

Never stopped buying Bitcoin. I certainly do not get advice from GFY members. Now I guess I get to hear the same old shit from the experts on the sidelines that watched the Bitcoin train leave the station years ago. If you don't own any crypto why would you think your opinion means shit to a tree? Cha-Ching Baby, Cha-Ching.

Its traded through Millennium OSE, so any serious broker will do. I use Nordnet.dk

Worse case, you can use https://www.etoro.com/
