Anyone drink cristal?
 

Thinking of buying some, anyone ever drank any and got an opinion of it?

i bought a bottle at a club once, didnt really taste anything special about it
not worth the $$$ in a club unless you really want to just show off.
i heard cristal is played out now though

It's over hyped trash to be honest, probably the worst of the highest priced Champagnes - it tastes no different than a $20 bottle of cheap crap.

I think Dom Perignon is a much better Champagne personally, it actually has taste.

Its good to mix with Diet Coke.

this is mostly the primary reason, here the 2002one move in the good clubs for around $2000 to the table with the wood box and you have a reason to show the black amex to your pickedup girl :1orglaugh ....is any girl worth this???

Try the Brut Premier by Roederer, its like $68 a bottle up here in Canada, cheaper in the states, made by the same firm as Cristal but much better tasting :thumbsup

I used to smoke it from a glass pipe a few years ago, but I dont remember much about it really...

I recently had a bottle of Perrier Jouet (2000 vintage). It was the best champagne I've ever had, and it was only $100 - WITH two pretty flutes included.

i agree with all the negative comments about cristal. I'd rather more Chandon bottles than spending a lot of money on a few cristals

Dont like champagne

I drank some 1990 about 5 or 6 years ago and it was excellent. Same goes for the 1990 Dom. My all time favorite, though, is still Krug Grande Cuvee and it's about half the price ($150 or so).

I have only popped it to spray all over people at a club to be a douche that everyone thinks is rich. Then I couldn't pay my rent. Strangers were impressed though and that is all that matters.

i prefer to drink batman (dom) straight out of the bottle in a club like the 80's drug dealers used to do in NYC...
