I saw somewhere else that Max Hardcore is set to be released next week.

Does anybody know if there are any parties planned?

I was never a big fan of Max's films, but it's sad to think that a person is sentenced to serve jail time in this country, simply for creating adult entertainment with mutually consenting adults, for other mutually consenting adults to view if they wish to.

It will be interesting to see what Max has to say, and what he plans to do once he is free again...

:thumbsup that is very good news. I have never been a big fan on the material he made but he got fucked hard by the feds. I am glad he is out and I hope he picks up where he left off and is able to get back to making money

Seriously though, I've met Max a handful of times at tradeshows, and even at car races, and he was a very jovial person. Since he was in a low security facility, I'm sure most of the other inmates probably got a kick out of hearing some of his tales.

I've met him on a shoot and know some girls who met him. They think he's an asshole and I agree with them.

Bottom line from what I've read of that case, he's doing time cause his shipping department used the Post Office instead of Fedex. THAT's BULLSHIT.

same shit different name. You distribute content across state lines, you are just using a different medium. He was in jail because of a difference in mediums. It is silly.

Even more silly , there is no way to know if you are creating obscene material as there is no criteria.
