Are men sexual predators ?

Do you think that men are often depicted as sexual predators in your country, especially when they are single ?

Please answer according to what you read on the internet, according to the comments of other people or in the media.
Do you think that it's easy to have a behavior that annoys women even while you seem to have a "normal" behavior ?
(For example, you look twice in the direction of a woman even not on purpose and you feel that she is still annoyed and you guess that she thinks that you want to it on her while she is even not sexy. For me it happens pretty often.)

If you answer, thanks to add your country.

I think its very difficult to judge what exactly is going on in a woman's head. But a vibe of annoyance from a woman who is not as hot as she wishes she was, in response to looking in her direction twice, is probably thinking something along the lines of "thanks for the ego boost, now fuck off."

Personally, I'd give her a quick "what the fuck are YOU looking at?" cold stare. It settles any ego-boosting misunderstanding on the woman's part pretty quickly. I have a GF so I don't give a fuck. Even if I didn't have a GF, I still wouldn't give a fuck. I don't play into women's mind games and dramas.

Wow, personally I would just smile and go on with my business. Having to put down, get the best of a total stranger and a woman at that seems pretty immature. Or shows a lack of self confidence on your part.

It is more complex than that. It has much to do who is in question. If Brad Pitt looks a woman, she is; "Oh my god, that is Brad Pitt and he is looking at me."

Not so interesting guy looks woman: "Oh no, that not so interesting guy looks at me. What I should do, so that I don't accitentally look like interested. Should I be like this, or like this? Don't look back, don't look back!"

That was nice woman- version, then there is more evil one:

"What that guy looks for? What he thinks about himself. Looser, yewww. Look away."

:)

But to your question more literally: I don't know. As we have more toned down behaviour anyways; probably not so much. There is a saying (somewhat false) that Finnish men don't talk or kiss; more like "Ugh! (pointing to a cave)". Enough said. :)

Well I'm male and I'm going to be blunt. The average man of today has become a seriously major fucking asshole towards women.

There have always been the asshole that spends his day hitting on anything with tits. And like most men I've been that asshole a couple of times. But in the past most men were at least making an attempt to be polite when we approached a woman.

You know we tried not to bother the lady too much... tried not to scare her... left her alone if she was with her kids... AND we at least tried to buy her dinner or pay for a movie.

Whereas today I've seen men all but come right out and say "come here and fuck me" and in one case I saw a man haul off and smack a woman.

Oh and I'm from the USA ( North Dakota )

I think you guys think we think about your intentions a whole lot more than we actually do. When we want your attention, we will get it...otherwise smile and be on your merry fucking way knowing you wont cross our mind the second you're out of our sight. =)

There you have what women are thinking.

I'm gonna be unpopular as fuck with this, but: it'll get even worse as todays younger males get older. Their ideas of sex, thanks to the sheer amount of porn out there (that we as adults know is fun/fantasy/etc) is fucked up, they don't have the life skills/experience to distinguish. Young males today (not all, obviously) are just the first batch of the crop :2 cents:

I am definitely a smidge crazy. No denying that. =)

MakeMeGrrrrowl 03-05-2015 08:51 AM

And I do not depict men as sexual predators. I have never heard my friends refer to men as such, and I don't think women in general think this about men. At least not where I come from in the US.

So go ahead boys, smile at a lady, she's just thinking, well how nice was that - not that you want to fuck her.

Is that more PC for you Tom? =)

Tom_PM 03-05-2015 09:11 AM

I'm not concerned with a singular incident such as I'm glancing at a womans ass and she catches me and scowls. Those incidents are normal everyday encounters and it happens to everyone of every gender.

I once posted a comment on a YT video of a girl pop group and mentioned my age and was immediately called a pervert. Apparently female entertainers in their mid twenties are not for me to be watching. WTF is that shit? Should I watch obituaries from now on or what?

I also read a post on FB from a female relative who told a story of a woman terrified for her childs very life because she got lost in a crowd. When the mother located the child again (after losing her in a crowd), an older man was stooping down to talk to her. The woman told of her blackest fears coming true as she raced over ready to fight for her childs life before she was molested and kidnapped, only to find that the man was helping her find her mommy. WTF is that shit? Should males not go unescorted in public? Not help a child in distress?

Good old USA, the land of something something and the home of something something.

Women in France??? You're not talking about women that look like Brigitte Bardot or Sophie Marceau, right?
I was there last year and there are no run-of-the-mill French women left. They're all wrapped in bed sheets. I swear, arabics and africans all around, not a single white French woman.

AmateurBros 03-05-2015 10:15 AM

Unfortunately we're responsible for this mess and everything is going to get far worse.

You know what I see possibly happening???

I can see in the next 10 years that there will be NON-muslim women covering their faces.

There just was (is still going on) a study that debunked that.

I actually had the idea of creating a mainstream version of the muslim hijab. Shit's only gonna get worse.

Chances are I won't get around to it anytime soon, but might be a good opportunity for another entrepreneur if they can get the marketing right.

To the OP, if you are not rich, and/or look like a model, you will be viewed as a predator until you somehow prove otherwise. The only difference between creepy and not creepy depends on your bank account and/or your looks.

I live in Canada.

Everything that you do = "you are a pervert"
If it involves children ? it means are a pedophile.
That becomes ridiculous

There is a lot of variation in being attractive: more than just on-off. I bet you are not that attractive that all chicks want you straight away. At least I am not. I am also proving here my point, that I just made in that dog thread.

that's not far from the truth, there is feminist bullshit all the time in the french medias especially at the public radios. they explain what's the "progress", which consists basically of doing what is written their political agenda.

It's like the "racism everywhere" bullshit, but with women.
