Can someone at StatsRemote please contact me? I have attempted to get in touch via the software, the web site contact form, and email.

Usually StatsRemote is good on support. Does anyone know if something bad happened to Neil? I hope all is okay.

forum/contact form is not maintained properly any more, so email is the way to go as per Neil's instructions last time I spoke with him, which wasn't that long ago (just checked, and was end of July this year). Might be throwing your emails into junk, tried sending from a different one?

Their forum died in May 2015, the last post from the Admin there states it's now a legacy support forum and to contact them at the above email.

Neil may be taking a break or is simply under the weather. What I noticed is that usually every Tuesday, like clockwork, there's an SR update. But there has not been an update for the past two Tuesdays.

I shot him an email and have not heard back yet. Hope he's doing okay, he's a really good guy to do business with. Of course, he also offers a fantastic product.

Yep, that is the email I've been using and usually Neil is great with most support, so going weeks without being able to get a response is, not just frustrating, but very surprising from a usually excellent company. Makes me concerned on multiple levels :Oh crap

99% of affiliate programs are dead. It's easier to track what is left by hand.

Fixed that for you.

It does more than affiliate programs though. If you have fixed costs, such as advertising expenses, wages, server overhead, etc, it lets you enter those costs which are then spread out over the days of each month, giving a quick overview of daily net revenues. It's pretty functional, has NO banners in the software, and makes it really easy to check receipt of payments, get a breakdown of sites within multiple programs (right click on ccbill for example and you can get a breakdown of all your CCBill revenues on a per site basis.).

It's also really convenient for exporting data to spreadsheets for assisting with tax reporting.

Thus, it's really useful for much more than checking affiliate program revenues.

Where do you enter fixed costs?

File > New Custom Entry

Choose the type as either Income or an Expense (Asset or Liability), give it a name and then choose Fixed or Distributed. Distributed will spread it out over the month.

Once done, you will see a section at bottom of the main stats area for "Total Costs:" and then the section below that will be for Total Net.

This lets you break down everything by the day, the month, etc right down to the $ / unique click.

We have the same problem. Been using SR for years and always had good contact with Neil.

Have reported a program weeks ago, as did my colleague but have yet to hear back from them. Given that Neil always responds quickly and SR always fixes issues within couple of weeks it leads me to believe that shit hit the fan at sr, which sucks cause we love SR

Indeed, SR is a fantastic piece of software. And Neil has always answered fast, often times within a few hours.

Thanks for promoting SpookyCash sites! Like I said in the second slightly-easier-to-read-but-still-garbled one, it is a CCBill mailer issue I'm hoping they will fix in time for a legible re-send, but all the links are correct.

I have sent StatsRemote Support three emails this month, asking why there hasn't been any updates since November 15th.

I sincerely hope that updates will resume in January.

We are also getting no response from Statsremote after email to Neil and submitting error reports.

well it's been a good 12 years or so, but nifty stats is gonna see a pretty good 2017 by the looks of things. Ah well, all good things come to an end.

Can I export StatsRemote to Nifty Stats Pro?

Both products are good enough, it's support the key here. Hope they will fix this issue, as i can imagine the mess in having to switch after such a long time. I'm using nifty, but if something similar would happen i can't even start to imagine the pain to switch to SR.

That's a great question...if Stats Remote is finished, I need to do something.

This would not be the first time Stats Remote went rogue for a period of time.

Back in 2006 everything went dark for about a month and a half.

Since then there have been periods of weeks...

I am in communication with NiftyStats and asked about that. They have a "somewhat" migration they include, but it is limited. It's built in to their latest Beta version. The developer told me earlier that is not an automated import because the SR password file is encrypted. SR stores each sponsor in its own .dat file. NiftyStats will do the import, sponsor by sponsor, by letting you select an SR .dat file that matches a corresponding program in NiftyStats.

Obviously if you deal with hundreds of programs, this can be tedious. On the positive side though, at least you/we/I know there is indeed an alternative if needed, it's just going to take a little while to get it all migrated. There's certainly worse things one could spend their time on :)

Hopefully Neil will respond soon. So far there are only a few programs showing up "red"...but over a little bit of time that will start going south real quick if he isn't updating the program.

I'm curious how many subscribers he has.

Does he have other projects that may be making more money at this time?

Sadly NiftyStats, doesn't run on a Mac natively :(
