What's the best vehicle you ever owned?
 

Having owned quite a few cars/trucks over the years...curious what everyone considers the best vehicle they ever owned?

I have to go with a '79 Ford F100 pickup - hardly cost me a dime in maintenance and repairs, never broke down...just an all-round good investment.

'98 Corvette

Was fast & looked great, I drove it hard and it never gave me a single bit of trouble. It also held its resale value really well.

I have always been a fan of Ford and owned a number of Ford vehicles over the years but you cannot get Cadillac comfort in a Ford.

I'd go with a 2000 ford ef-one-fiddy.

Sold it off not long ago. Kinda' regret it.

80's style monte carlos. I've had two of them one for over 10 years and its never let me down.

87 Honda Prelude when I was in High School. It was not my best vehicle but it was my favorite. I graduated in '91, got it my sophomore year. It was black and hot!!! I loved that car!!! I was fearless and wild!!! :winkwink:

My best was/is a Jag X-Type...........I will always have a Jag, I love them!!! I know everyone hates them, everyone says they are crap, but I have had no problems!!! (knock on wood haha) I will always own one, and I want the new Jag XFR, Oo la la, designed after the Aston Martin baby!!!

1990 Pontiac Grand Prix. 120k miles, and nothing ever broke except the brake light switch. Awesome car...

it was fully loaded and I had a lot of work done on it. It was black with dark black tinted windows, leather interior, nice custom stereo installed and of course a racing style cover for the steering wheel, everything was electronic, and wow could that car fly!! It looks like a big boat but those cars were very well engineered. I felt like nothing could touch me whenever I drove it haha. And what's funny is they use to be used as police cars, and I would never get pulled over if I was speeding, I think a lot of cops assumed I was some sort of undercover cop or something lol

2009 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S FE+

Bought it in April.

I would have to go with my 91 Toyota Celica. Loved that car. It has some balls to it and never broke down. Took a beating and kept on going. Worst thing I ever did was getting rid of that for a newer car. They don't even make them anymore. :(

I've really had some great vehicles over the past 5 years...2 Ford Harley trucks, a Hummer H2, and I still have my Prowler, Corvette, and 4 door Jeep wrangler.
Not much trouble with any of these vehicles and they are all fun to drive. My Prowler probably is my favorite just because of all the attention it gets, and I put lambo style doors on it so that always draws a lot of attention too.

Porsche Cayman S.... Had camaros, corvettes, monte carlos, Audis, and VWs.

This car is quick, nimble and not that expensive. I would never spend $100K on a car, but the Cayman S is a great car for the price.

I loved my Audi A6

Had a few but my current work truck is a loaded 03 Chevy Duramax with almost 200,000 miles, most with a 30' trailer, and it's still just gets the job done.

1991 Mazda Miata. I've owned and driven faster and more "manlier" cars, but nothing has ever come close to that one in terms of nimbleness and "tossability". The race suspension was a factor of course, it was like taking a gokart out every time I left the house...

Where in LA do you live? There is someone in my building in Woodland Hills that has a Cayman who I think is in adult... He also has a blue Cadillac Escalade... is that you?

My ol' 1975 Jeep CJ5 (you know, the real jeeps..not those new pieces of shit jeeps) has been my best car to date. Let the flames begin. :)

Aston Martin 1967 DB6 is the "best" because .... well it's close to being the most classic design ever. It's for sale if anyone interested though cos I'm moving.

Jeep YJ or TJ "wrangler" I have destroyed quite a few of them though.

Best car, probably this 80ish Datsun 200SX it had damn near 300,000 miles on it when I gave it to my sister who killed it. It was inexpensive, cheap and easy to mainstain, had decent pep and power for a 4 cylinder and took me cross country (with friend and full compliment of luggage) four times while I was bobbing around from Navy school to Navy school.

The most fun though was my 66 Impala. RIP :(

The best was a Big Wheels. Cruisin down the side walk, no bills, no job, no worries, just plenty of fun.

What is strange is that this is one deck that really didn't increase in value like others from the same time (late 80s if I'm not mistaken?) I think you can still find originals for under 100 bucks.

I never was a PP person though...

Pry the Escalade I used to have.
